Oh P.S i read somewhere on here.. i dont remember where (or else i would quote) but someone said something about CA watering down their routine and USA should have thought about who would have done better at worlds instead of just handing out bids. but remember somebody told us on this board before USA even happened that CA would win partly because USA sent them last season and CA represented them so well at worlds.which is understandable. and that all they would need to do is be clean and hit. and thats exactly what they did. so i guess this outcome should've been expected. BUT in my opinon i highly doubt that a watered down routine will help them win at worlds. it might get them to worlds.. but i doubt it will help them beat a team that can have the difficulty AND hit super clean. all we can do is wait and see though...

and if they add the difficulty back in for worlds.. what if it falls apart like it has before? i dont know! just soo many questions running through my head when i think about sr. elite. however, i do wish them the best of luck the remainder of the season =)

I thought Cheer Force deserved to be higher than third. even though they dropped a stunt they got right back up and kept going, and the flyers were all still smiling and singing. The thing about Cheer Force is that they have so much eye activity and something is always going on during their routine. Cheer force has some many amazing " WOW FACTORS!!!" CA was great, don't get me wrong, and sooo was Magic they really brought it this weekend, but I think Cheer Force is just so fun to watch and they are so entertaining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good jobs to every team this past weekend!!!!!!!!!! biggrin

I thought they did great this weekend. Even with their mistakes they have so much skill and I really enjoyed them this weekend. Both small senior and small limited did amazing. Way to go, keep up the great work. All of your teams keep getting better and better. Cant wait to see what you come with at worlds.

Did CA say they watered down their routine, or did someone else say they did? It didn't appear to be a watered down routine to me.

Maybe they made the shirts in response to all the abuse on these boards. I thought CA was fantastic this weekend. Apparently so did USA.

many of their shirts have to do with haters...ha i wonder why people on these boards are brutal to them

haha so i'm glad mostly everyone is on the same page with USA...FED UPP! ha and i completely agreeee, let's all boycott their competitions. But other than that i loved bonding with other teams this weekend. Small Senior 5 is such a competitive division out on the floor, but all of the teams felt like family backstage, i absolutely lovedd it! Can't wait to see everyone at worlds!!!!

oh and i am so happy that American's coed won that full paid! they definately deserved it, i loved everything about their routine! Plus it was so hard for me to root for one team in our division for the bid! I wanted CA, Magic, and Fierce all to get it!!!! haha wow, but hats off to CA for three perfect routines: watered down or not that is extremely tough to do! there were so many great performances from every program this weekend. It helped keep my mind off of Lions terrible one! haahahaa, it happens...all we can do is look back, laugh, and then learnnn (: lol, overallll i'm making the good outweigh the bad this weekend!

Yeah I didn't really see much of the watered down. It definitely was bid worthy.

If you ask me:
The choreography is the best in the division. They have just as many layouts/tucks in their two to full section. They have two jump sections to backs. What... Their partner stunt only has 3/5 full ups...? Maybe they will add in a little more in the stunt sequence... I don't think that's most important here. They we're the only team in the whole division that was mistakeless and to me the most important aspect of their routine is how well they perform and how the execute everything. Those two things are undeniable. They are no stingrays by any means... But they definitely work the crowd and execute amazing.

Yes "Bulletsbaby" said they did water down their routine for this weekend and about the shirts why would you be proud to know so many people hate you? laugh out loud and also in response to the person who said they won't do well at worlds. Most of us have seen them try and hit a difficult routine and fail this season so it will be interesting to see how well they end up doing and i would like to tell the girls from Magic and CheerForce that you were amazing this weekend and you gained so much respect keep your heads high cause both of these teams will do very well at worlds.

Congrats to all bid winners! CA and American did so well!!

*Want to be helpful?! Some of my team stood in the corner and wished teams good luck before they went on, and cheered for them during their routines; many people approached us later thanking us. What a good feeling!

I've only seen a handful of those that wear "those" shirts. It does not speak for the rest of the teams... I am not fond of them either. And I AM a Bullet. Good luck all going to Worlds!

Glad to hear it Alex. I think CA would get a better reception if they had a more humble countenance. CA is a hardworking team and obviously full of talented athletes. If they want to get their peers respect they have to do more than being Fierce. A little modesty could go a long way. I understand not ALL CA athletes have this attitude, and maybe some are not even aware of the vibe their putting out.

And to respond to Be of Good Cheer and I Want Gold: No, I really don't think it is jealousy. When Cheerforce or PAC wins for example, no one has EVER had a problem with that, and those 2 teams are incredible and win much more that not. So why is that? CA brings this controversy on themselves. How does "I hope you like the cold...Cause we're taking the jackets" a "response to abuse"? Come on is that a little dramatic?

Alex, I wish your teams all the best...I really hope at Worlds all the West Coast Teams can just come together and root for each other like one big West Coast Team. That happened a lot this weekend and it was refreshing. biggrin

You said it and I agree. If no one goes there will be no $$$ to hand out. I have a feeling that all the posts today were heard loud and clear and every team will recieve notification of the changes to come soon. USA knows they need us. We don't need them. Keep replying to this post so everyone sees it. After 20 pages today many good comments will never be seen. I would rather throw our money in a pot with the other teams and get the coaches together to decide the winners based on the current years overall experience. We all knew who should have won before the competition. We all knew who had bids and those that still needed one. The best already had open bids and just needed the money to represent California at Worlds. Has anyone seen any comment from USA or are they to ashamed of themselves!

USA is a sad excuse for a competition, and a last resort for gyms to get their bids otherwise they wouldnt even be going to your competiton. AND!!!!!!!! this year it was at the LA Convention center NOT because it was a larger venue and could accomodate the large scale of USA ALL STAR NATIONALS, NO NO NO NO NO...the attendance wasnt even that large. The Anaheim convention center was already scheduled to host another saporting event that could have more effectively use the large space alotted by the Anaheim Convention center. it just so happened to work out that the LA convention center was available due to cancelling of other events that were hosted there because of the down fall of our economy.

USA needs to stick to what they know best, HIGH SCHOOL CHEER circa 1980.

Get with the program USA, U Suck A$$.

Im glad people are saying stuff about being happy about the sportsmanship toward all other teams! i was one of the PAC girls on the side of the floor yelling for some other small five teams and i love cheering on other teams it feels so good! haha:)

and congratulations American on the the paid bid! i absolutely loved how happy they were! i really enjoyed watching them get it:) and great job CA this weekend! you guys have had some tough performances this season but you knew your hard work would pay off:)

and as this weekend goes for lions, haha definately not our best oh jeez. but ya we're just gonna blow that off and work for worlds! and i do mean work! hahah:)

and backstage was so much fun with all the other teams! even though it took a lifetime for our awards to start! we made the best of it and made a few friends too:) i cannot wait for worlds! its gonna be so funnnnn!!!!

and our jags got a bid! im so happy for themmmm!!!! I cannot beleive we're taking 3 teams worlds! thats so huge for our company:D hahah yipee i love you jaguars!

but great job all teams this weekend even though everyone pretty much hated it! haha im so excited to see everyone at worlds! 40 days:D... i think ;)
