We all seem to agree on the USA judges...

This weekend was a complete joke. Magic had too warm up twice both today and yesterday they we're so clue less about everything, they had OC jr just starting warm up when we ended and they we're performing before us...Thankfully Magic still pulled off an amazing routine..ALSO concerning the paid bids...such a joke. The 3 highest scores in the level 5 divisions were 1. CA Small Sr 2. So Cal Elite (already paid bid) 3. Magic Sm Sr, Magic should of gotten that PAID they beat Americans Co-ed score it was just so wrong. They pulled off one of the best performances i've ever seen so congrats to them. 2nd place way to go. A lot of people won't be back to this competition don't worry. I don't understand how OC will take two teams to worlds, they have quite a few cross overs..but we'll have to see...kind of dissapointed that they got a bid(senior team) there junior team deserved one!... Pacific coast got 2nd in the senior limited and didn't get one...it was just wrong. CA i have too much to say about them, they we're good and they stuck but even "bulletsbaby" said they put in more tucks and layouts for a reason well, that's sad...and i hope they can pull it off at worlds and it won't surprise me if they don't them getting a paid sorry doesn't impress me at all...but congrats and we're glad your going to worlds now....Tough and stressfull weekend for a lot of teams and parents and COACHES but good job all teams you showed you can push past anything to hit clean. OH ANOTHER THING.....PACE GETTING A BID? hahah sorry no

Don't you love the color? I wanted to be spontaneous.
I agree and disagree with you "allshedoesischeer" As people have come to understand is USA is a joke, it always has been and it always will be they make wrong descions and they screw you over (excuse my lanuage) but like some people are saying people keep coming back for those last chance bids. Magic looked amazing hands down and if USA went by difficulty they would have won because your right CA did go CLEAN this weekend and like their coach says "clean and classy" always wins. Is it wrong? YES but haven't we all got the picture now? THIS IS CHEERLEADING and it's subjective and i love  CA's music and shirts "It's all about the love" and about the HATE. It's true so many people hate them (which is understandable) they win when they shouldn't but they are clean and sharp and like this person above said that won't work at worlds so hopefully they can do some major changes before worlds but CONGRATS on the PAID you went out their and did hit clean. NOW onto OC their JUNIOR 5 team is amazing and they deserved the bid and 1st place their senior team on the other hand...this weekend "A MESS" how they got the bid i don't know but i'm sorry to say this but there going to get killed at worlds and about their crossovers that will be interesting to find out if they take both teams... if you can choose NELSON please pick your JUNIOR 5 because your seniors won't survive in that division. PACIFIC COAST did look the best i've seen them, but they did make mistakes which hurt them even if they had a higher score...mistakes will always hurt you. ALWAYS. BY THE WAY MAGIC AND PACIFIC COAST you we're so much fun to watch this weekend, in warm ups and when the teams were competiting you turned heads and i know magic will help PC out a lot this upcoming year. PACE well they deserved the bid more than OC will they do well at worlds? NO but it's a good experience. ALL TEAMS DID AMAZING!!!!!!

Top 3 AGAIN

1. California All Stars
2. Magic All Stars
3. CheerForce Diamondz

OMG! Its cheerleading for peets sake. You win some and you loose some. No need to put down others. Just worry about your selves and come harder next time. Congratulations to everyone this weekend. There were some great performances. Even tough i thought some of the placings were iffy, i still had a great weekend and i hope everyone else did also.

There's no need to be harsh at all... What happened, happened and that's just it. Oh well... Life moves on. And everyone will be back in the gym tomorrow night pushing and cleaning like always. Although I do not agree with some of the bid recipients and placings, I am over it. The good always outweighs the bad for me. I try to look at the positive not the negative....
I got to spend time with my kids, my families, and my best friends. I got to watch my kids triumph from a bad day one to a better day two. I was able to laugh hysterically with friends from other programs... And that to me is worth it all. This isn't the end of the world, EVER! And I'm just proud that I get to say that california cheerleading has come a long way and I am definitely proud as HEAK to be able to say that I am from this state!!!

Keep the peace and love! Megan

I was unfortunately not at the comp this weekend and it seems I missed out. Some of you have way too much time on your hands to be bashing everyone. All I have to say to that is "let it go!!!" Congrats to CA, CF, Magic and all those girls who work so very hard in the gym each and every day. You give us something to "cheer" about!!! :)

Way to go OC Blue and Black!

This competition was quite an eye opener for me.  I thought the best team wins.  At USA I guess not.  And when they do win..they announce the wrong team??  What??

OC Jr-WOW!  What a great routine!  You girls really did your job!!  Everything was flawless and you totally deserved EVERYTHING you got...Good job!!

Felt bad for CA 3 team.  No one should be deprived of that excitment of hearing your name called...Celebrating with your team and holding up the banner while photos are being snapped left and right...Sorry girls...You guys were great!!!

Okay I have to say something about Small Senior 5...I'm sorry ahead of time...I know it always is about Small Senior 5...I don't even have girls on small senior 5 but I HAVE to say my peace....

WHAT IS GOING ON??? First of all...Cheerforce was the BOMB!!! Tumbling is incredible.  They can work a dance like NO other...They dropped a stunt. One on each day...but the DIFFICULTY!!!  Doesn't that count for anything?? I remember in an earlier post from CA Supporters (Honestly or Bulletsbaby )saying something about maxing out a scoresheet or when you have difficulty but make a mistake that it shouldn't effect the score that much.  (I will find it and post it next..)Obviously you have to eat those words now!!

CA watered down their routine soooooooo much.  Took out the tick tocks.  Only the front stunts do REAL full ups there is 2 that do a half up...Tucks and layouts galore..(which I think Magic got critisisms for from CA supporters earlier in the post) Yes, clean and classy???Of course they were clean...they didn't have anything difficult to pull off.  Whatever...

Magic-Difficult and Demanding!!! WOW!! Couldn't keep my eyes off them.  I have never seen a team come so far in such a short time.  Hitting a DIFFICULT routine consistantly EVERY time.  There was 1 touchdown the first day and that was IT!!  Your team WON in my book...and if I had the money I would give it to you girls...cause PCM you guys won my loyaltys.  Hold your head up girls.. I would rather get second the right way than 1st the CA way.  Gutless is what they were.

What about the at larges given out to Magic (who already had one) and Desert Storms large senior(who already had one)?  What???

Do your homework USA!!! Wow!!! Great Weekend with great performances...Horrible Competition....disbelief

i totally agree with allshedoesischeer.
this competition was ridiculous.

i have gotten really close with the magic girls, and am so excited to see how well they do at worlds, and congratulations on your merge!:)) pacific coast magic is going to be up there with the best of them, and this competition was a great start to show off your amazing teams. what one team lacks, another is strong in, and that is so important in a merge. magic already looks 10x sharper!

once again, the USA judges made a huge mistake. Magic got an at-large bid (when they already have one). they also gave desert storm's large senior an at-large (when they too, already had one). for the third competition, USA didn't do their homework. so yeah, it would be nice to have two invitations to worlds;), but there were other teams that needed them...
such as PC.
so the judges already made a huge mistake of announcing desert storm's at-large, and magics, but what do they do with the two extra at-large bids? they don't go with the next two highest scores, but they give out the bids pretty much at random... confuse... they gave one to pace, and one to oc all stars. these aren't bad teams, but are they worlds qualifiers, or did the bids trickle down to the only people that didn't have one? teams like PC, who totally deserve to go to Worlds, cant now because of the judge's careless mistake.

now, i know this is going to start something, but i don't see how CA can get grand champion at USA when there routine, really, honestly, isn't that difficult. for example, in the stunt section, they only do 3/5 full ups. yes, that's it. unless if you want to count their stunt sequence after the pyramid, that is very simple. magic's stunt sequence includes an inversion, 5/5 full ups, and 4/5 tic- tocs. i understand that USA is all about being sharp, clean, and hitting your routine, but Magic hit their stunts just as well as CA's at a more difficult level. your opinion is your opinion, but that is pretty impressive. i could go through the whole division, and CA really doesn't compare with one of those stunt sequences. you could say that CA throws a standing full, but magic throws a three to a double. they both have the same amount of doubles. one thing i did notice that always makes me a little bit upset, is how a team can throw the front row of two to a full, and the next two rows throw tucks. i really dont understand why the judges dont open up their eyes to this. people may be giving magic a hard time for throwing layouts in their running tumbling, (level 4), but how about you look at CA's tucks in their opening, (level 3). Magic has more tumbling passes, and more two to a fulls to the back in the opening. i respect magic for this. Pretty much, I don't get how Magic hit clean and difficult, and CA hit just as clean but with a watered down, safe routine, but CA got the Paid bid, and Grand Champion. Magic could have been close, I'm not sure, but USA didnt give Magic the recognition they deserved for their success this weekend, and that is what's dissapointing. I am proud that they are going home with second place though, GREAT JOB GIRLS!

i guess what i am trying to say, is i dont agree with almost anything USA did this weekend. from warm ups, to awards, their was always something going wrong, and something that people didnt agree with. there were a lot of upset cheerleaders going home today, when their should have been cheerleaders jumping up and down, because they got what they deserve. i know this always gets people upset, but many teams got jipped.

Ok didn't want to get involved but just needed to know, how do you know my scores?
Infact our 88.62 was second to CA and SoCal.  Lg sr was an 87.3 and limited coed was in the 87's as well.  Please say anything you want until you start to spreading wrong info.
If there are Pacific Coast Magic people on here please keep it positive.  Kelly and I are proud of our Athletes, Coach's and Parents please do not say anything that will tarnish thier effort.
Again unless you have the FACTS, make sure you make it known its only your OPINION.

if I remember the announcer saying the scores sm sr had a 91.75 and small limited had 91.25

Deja Vu.   We hear these complaints about USA year after year, yet you continue to give them  your business year after year for those almighty bids to Worlds.  Is USA ever accountable for their errors?  No.  Are the judges ever accountable?  No.  And as long as USA can hand them out however they want, they will continue to do so and we'll continue to hear the same complaints about them next year.   It's just sad they don't care enough to make changes based on the same complaints they must hear year after year.  Any other business would have to fold.  Let's not forget that's exactly what it is.

Just got home. Whew!!yawn  I am not even going to say anything about the competition part right now, cause I am just shaking my head.  I still don't believe it. I take that back. I can believe it, cause it keeps happening.  I think maybe today it will be different. But "NO" it's not.

What I did want to comment on was about the new friendships I was seeing...PAC and Magic?  Rooting for eachother...WOW!! The sportsmanship..I was impressed.  Also, I heard that Cheerforce, PAC, and Magic (sorry PCM) were having a ton of fun backstage...They were all bonding and getting to know eachother.  I have a feeling this will carry through to Worlds.  I love to hear stuff like THAT!!!  Good job girls.  YOU are an inspiration.

I also heard of some not so sportsmanship like acts.  I am not even going to go there and say who...because like with my kids I try to catch them doing good and not give attention to the bad behavior. But really, what a disappointment. Just rude beyond belief. You know who you are.

Lastly, SNIFF SNIFF...PCM.  What a sight!  The girls traded bows and wore them on both days. (cause the boys wouldn't have looked quite as cute with them onwink) Standing on the sidelines rooting for each other like they had been a merged gym for years...You would NEVER had known these girls (and guys) just came together.  Both Teams looked great!! They did better than I had ever seen them. The Coaches must be tired from all the running, jumping, fist pumping, stage pounding, and screaming they did both days.  They were as fun to watch as their teams. Good job PCM Family.  Can't wait to see what the future hold for you...  I think it will be bright and we all better get some shades...
