Here are some of the outstanding things we have collectively done during the 2008/2009 season
·Raised almost $6000.00 for our inaugural scholarship fund for graduating senior and super senior cheerleaders in Northern California
·Acquired up-front price breaks for some of the competitions by using our collective volume of cheerleaders.
·Increased the size and depth of Northern California competitions by working together to attend similar events.
·Attended the NACCC meeting in Atlanta where we voiced our opinion on issues/rules, volunteered for USASF committees, and convinced the USASF to move their annual regional meeting to Northern California (Tentatively July 25 & 26, 2009 in Sacramento)
This is just the beginning of great things to come for gyms, cheerleaders, and families in Northern California!
We are currently finishing up negotiations with ALL event producers that will put on events in Northern California for 2009/2010.That schedule and pricing will go out to all Northern California All-Star Alliance (NCAA) members the end of next week.On March 13, 2009we will be having our next meeting in Sacramento, and at that meeting ALL member gyms will be turning in their tentative competition schedule for the 2009/2010 season.Over the course of the next month or so we will revise our master spread sheet and continue to send updated lists out to our members.Everyone in the NCAA will know where all of the other member gyms are going, thus helping to create great competitions with lots of depth, as was evident this past year at many events.
We have even take things a step further in 2009/2010 by helping the Event Producers schedule their events so that there are not many conflicts on the same weekend in the same region.Yes, there are many competitions that have moved dates and locations for 2009/2010, so that they may have a better opportunity for a larger turnout.
Join us in 2009/2010 where we will be bigger and better than ever! Here is a list of gyms that have shown interest in joining us in 2009/2010.

YES! I agree John. The Alliance has had a terrific first year. Very few areas of the country could have managed to do what we have done. To set egos aside and do what is best for our sport in Northern California is something we should all be very proud of.
A huge thank you needs to go out to the Alliance's Executive Board. The extra time and effort they have put into this has been incredible.

Great Job guys! Hopefully your hard work will help this country organize this sport better. The USASF started the process but I believe that your years of experience and leadership skills will dramatically change this sport for years to come.
We are looking forward to being part of the NCAA next season. We had the oppurtunity to talk to the people from All Star elite at the cheergyms competition and share with our owner the benefits. The All Star Elite staff was very helpful thank you. Thank you to all of the current board members. Thank you for sticking through the season and fighting for better things for our sport. Although competitions were not large in numbers, almost every competition had competitiors in all divsions which was nice to see. A big change from last season. As a parent it is good to see our teams competing with others. Looking forward to next season and learning more about NCAA.
I am so proud of the NCAA! John, Karen, Nancy, Jill, Morton, Nicole etc.... THANK YOU for all you do! Not only do you run our own gyms with grace, but then you help out the sport of cheerleading. Truly AMAZING.
