RE: cheersport stockton 1/25

So I've never even watched the World Cup Shooting Stars until I just read this post (I know, I don't youtube like everyone else - trying to run a business.)

The only similarities in our routine at all were our front to back tumbling section, we had ONE stunt in the back of the tumbling section that 360s into a bow and arrow, and we have full ups.  The theme was the same, and our dance music was the same song.  Not by choice... we sent in a count sheet to have our music done, told them that we wanted a "red carpet" theme, and that's what we got.

I agree that our routine looks more level 5, but that's what we were after, as our team's strength is stunting, and we're trying to catch up on the tumbling part :)

Your routine is impressive and very entertaining (coed lev 4).   Before Spirit Spectacular I had seen it at American Championships, it seems a lot stronger now (do you have more members on the team too)?  I couldn't remember if you were large or small at American C.    Looking forward to seeing you this weekend at Athletic Championships, which according to the schedule is shaping up to be one of the best attended comps in the bay area so far (maybe the best)?, unless I'm mistaken.  Offhand I can only think of a couple gyms who won't be there.

Don't let them hate, you guy's are sick and the fact that your choreography can be compared to level 5 teams like shooting stars when you hadn't even seen them should be taken as a huge compliment, and quite frankly I think you guy's pulled it off pretty well. =]

I've been watching yall on the defense this whole post and just wanted to voice that!

P.S. After getting to know some people on your team, me and most everyone I know wouldn't be surprised to see a riptides lv 5 team in the near future!

Keep it up you guys, see you this weekend =]

Awww, thanks CORY!  I was starting to think that this board was just another way to add gray hairs... hahaha... no really, I do appreciate comments - positive or negative...

And, yes, we are thinking about a level 5 team next year, probably small, but hey, it's a start!!

And, we've always been a large team (there's no sm/lg for coed 4) but we did add one new boy since the November comp.  Backyard tumbler, so we've had to invest a few minutes in him :)  We had a rough start to the beginning of the year - crashed and burned a few times, but the last couple weeks it's been strong.

I'm excited to see everyone at Athletic Championships this weekend too!
