Cheer can be very subjective. you may not have liked it but obviously the judges did!! Personally I think it looks great.... something different and something you remember!!smile

quick question about American... did anybody notice that their uniforms look exactly like POWERs? for a second i thought POWER was there until i notice that their uniforms said American lol but anyways.. great job this weekend American!

Ok, I left the competition before the end. I heard California Allstars Small Jr. level 5 got overall Grand Champions -- is that true?

Firstly, I'm not cheering.

And Im not starting any drama.. its just for the first time in forever American is competing against Xtreme Elite(old SE)
they have had this rivalry for years and its been almost 5 years since the Sr. lvl 5 teams have competed against each other! 
I am not on anyones side.. i just cant wait to see the two teams finally compete against each other..
is that so bad?!
its only been like the tinys or the minis that competed against each other.. and i im just excited to see the two team go head to head.. cause they are the only two, so far, in their division at Spirit Sports!


I only wish the best of luck to both teams!!

I must make this quick Miss Twinkle, I believe my coaches are on to me and posting is strictly prohibited. I thank you for your quick response and am sorry to hear that you are not cheering anymore, I hope when I am too old I can stay actively involved in the sport/gossip like yourself. Actually though our level 5 teams competed twice last year against each other. Once in the GSSA super 6 and again at Jamz for the Bid. I realize it was not directly in the same division but we did go head to head none the less. Words like "showdown" etc,, between two programs that have a long standing negative rivalry often incite alot of negative posts on this board. Being that you are a veteran poster I would think that you could understand this. In any case it's nice to hear that you are excited about Palm Springs, as are we. Good luck to all and we can't wait until Spirit Sports!!!!! Charlie Eskew American Cheer

See.. the thing that i dont understand is why you have to come at me so strongly.. i, by no means, was not gossiping or starting drama.. and the negative drama or rivalry was never started on here.. and i i try to stay out of the drama.. good luck in Palm Springs and at Worlds. I know you will make it there!!

okay, what i believe LuvCheer was trying to say.. that apparently (because you two teams are from the same town) mindee is saying there was always a rival.. charlee is saying that maybe there was but that it's not like that anymore.

So mindee don't take it as shes throwing it in anyones face or anything. But they just want to be friendly.

Last year, ( from my reading) American got bashed pretty hard by people on these boards and (you being a veteran poster) should remember.. so lets keep it clean.. here ladies =]

i really dont try to dwell on the past.. and im sorry for any problems that i might have caused.. and i apologize to the Sr. 5 teams from American and Xtreme Elite for bringing names in to the post..

i saw on the oc website that ca jr 5 scored 91.3 and oc sr 5 scored 91.3 but ca jr 5 got grand champions.  can someone explain?  confused.gif
