Guarenteed PAC's small senior will get one of the full-paids. Did anyone see them at VOS? THEY LOOKED AMAZING, I don't know how they didn't beat AZ Power Xtreme. No offence to AZ, but I think PAC should've taken that bid. Word has it they only lost by .1 MY PREDICTION IS ON PAC LIONS FOR THE FULL-PAID!!! My other prediction is AZ's small lmt coed. And if level six can get full paids, (which i do not know...) then AZ MYTHS for sure! CAN'T WAIT FOR SPIRIT SPORTSSSSSSSSSS!

I'm glad you have such high hopes for my program but don't get ahead of yourself. There are alot of really good teams that are in the running for the Paid Bids. In regards to Valley of the Sun, we had a great time and enjoyed the competition Both our teams looked better than previous competitions and thats all we ask for is that they keep pushing and getting better. Cheerleading is a subjective sport and the judges felt AZ Power won. They hit an amazing routine and as usual were amazing on and off the floor. Kelly and her staff have an amazing program and they deserve to be congratulated on their Partial Paid and At Large bids. I am extremely excited for Spirit Sports this year as East Elite is coming out along with all the other programs that make this competition spectactular every year.

Good luck to everyone and see you in 2 weeks!

On this list it shows divisions are divided into small and large......I can't remember if they combine divisions at this comp. if there is is no competition within a division.....does anyone know the answer to that???

USASF requires combining divisions unless there are at least two teams in each division.

Galaxy Cheer is out of Redmond, Washington.  Ronda Thomas is the owner and she runs a GREAT gym.  You'll love competing with them.

This rubric is killer! But I love it! I think all competition companies should have a scoring rubric.

It is my fav score sheet..even though it may seem tedious...It is very easy to score high if you follow the rubric.  Goodluck everyone!

Here's an example taken directly from the long tumbling scoring rubric from the Spirit Sports website. It's really the best way to score teams FAIRLY.

The only thing I don't like about the rubric scoring at Spirit Sports is that it seems that they award the higher points even if the skills aren't performed well or they fail completely. In other words, I'd rather see a clean routine with slightly less difficult win rather than a more difficult routine with falls all over the place. JMO. I do think that higher difficult needs to score higher, but only if it's done well.
