I know this will probably just be passed by on this because

it is all about level 5 and Ca but i just have to say CONGRATS
to OC's senior lvl 2 team. I have seen them all year and they
have been struggling to hit their routine and this weekend they
hit it and from what i heard they actually had a girl break her
thumb in warm ups and quickly changed their routine. I dont
know for sure though...Nelson? is this true?
But still congrats to these girls
and also to all of the OC teams...you guys are looking great this season

Yes, our Senior 2 team (Senior Pink) had an injury in the warm-up room.  After their tumbling warm-up, they went outside and quickly adjusted their routine.  Then, they came back inside, jumped on the floor and nailed it.  Their coaches, John, Alison and Chelsea did a phenomenal job preparing them and the kids stepped up to the plate.  They have been struggling all year and to see them go out and nail that routine the first day put the entire staff and program on an emotional high.

Then to see them just absolutely kill it day 2 was even better!  We are very proud of them as well as every team in the gym who seemed to have an incredible day 2.  My voice is gone, my throat is in pain, and I think I did something to my shoulder...all for cheering my heart out for all the teams at Spirit Sports.

Well worth it if you ask me.

Nelson

i have a question, how did CA lg sr4 get first ? no disrespect at all, i just am confused because of what i heard they fell apart the first day and did not even finish the routine :/

from what i HEARD was they got to go again later on in the day.
but, i dont know if that is true or not. so dont quote me on it. lol

Yeah they went again and they hit everything smile But im not sure how the judging went on that. I think the judges can only score the part after the music sotpped or something

oh got it... yeah i didnt hear about them going again so thats what confused me haha

no disrespect or anything but honestly do you believe if it was another gym (like an underdog gym) who had the same problem they would be allowed the chance to go again? seriously i enjoyed this competition without a doubt but their were some things this weekend that i didnt like! no

well actually this did happen to an underdog team last season... im sure some people remember bladez jr coed at americas best, we got to go again and the judges didnt score us until the baskets because thats when our music changed and made us mess up.

from what i know magic challenged a wrong judgeing score which moved them into first ahead of desert storm and then they tied for 2nd on day two

Shawn... Thank you for the awesome things you said about our small 5, it means a lot. They've been working and working and workin' some more. But I thank you, knowing that your favorite team was our special needs team. It took a lot of hard work, energy, and time to put that program together. I'm glad other coaches see how "Lucky" we are to have them in our lives. :) I'll tell Chase you called him a rockstar. I'm sure he will smile big for you.

Thanks again Shawn. ;)

Jr Co-ed 5 competed with the exact same number of kids both days...no additions.

Congrats to all the teams. It was a well fought competition in every division.

I was so impressed with East Elite, they were amazing in every level.

Titan, it was a pleasure competing with you again in Sr 3. I look forward to going against you again, you give us a run for our money! Great job ladies!

Hello CheerFan
My Name I Troy Hedgren and I am the head coach for Magic Allstars
Your comments are completely wrong and hearsay!  If you where with me and my teams after the performance (which I doubt) you would have heard me say that "we should be proud that we were the only team that hit" or "the top five are all worlds finalist SAME AS US" never we got jepped never played the blame game!
Do I think the decision was wrong YES Do I think that on sunday we were better than CA and AZ Power YES!  Do I think skill for skill our routine matches up with anyone in Sm Sr levl 5 YES But these are strong programs and we have battled before and we will battle again and I have GREAT respect for thier athletes and the Coach's
Next time you want to attribute a quote to me make sure your facts are straight or keep my name and my team out of it!!!!

OMG, are you serious?  The only reason Desert Storm Jr. 5 was in first place the first day was because CA All Stars dropped a stunt. This team is absolutely amazing.  The guys are incredible tumblers and the entire team puts on an amazing show.  I'm not saying you guys were bad, you did well and were clean, but you don't have near the difficulty as CA Allstars.
