It doesent make since to me how magic and fierce both hit and still placed so low behind az power, ca, and power who all dropped stunts I guess because of difficulty but magic and fierce both have pretty difficult routines???? Someone help in confused lol

that was wrong placement.. on the first day it ended up

1. east elite
2.pride
3.ca
4.az power
4.magic (they tied)

and fierce following close behind

But im not sure how the judging went on that. I think the judges can only score the part after the music sotpped or something

they had to stop the music because a girl got injured they were able to preform again that night to be juged from where the judges believed she started to affect the score, which was the jumps. they were in 3rd after day one came back and rocked it with a flawless routine to overcome a .6 seperation between them and first to win it! one of the best come back stories ever

OK, so they didn't have more boys on Sunday? These people were either seeing things or lying? This stuff never stops, "they had six more boys.., they pushud out Magic... etc." My guess is that as the Magic coach was saying after Sr 5 awards, "we were jepped" and this attitude has trickled down to his kids and parents. Thus the tone of the comments posted. Either CA did or didn't (have the extra boys), sm sr 5 should have been 3rd because they stuck (nothing else matters) etc. I don't know about the boys, it is hard to understand where they suddendly got 6 extra boys but I saw the sm 5 division and there was so much more to everyone of the top 4 than a dropped stunt. Really, do yourself a favor and stop drinking the Kool-aid. Yes, Fierce has come a long way and should continue along their current path but as for Magic, unless you wake up and stopped the blame game, you'll continue to place in the shoulda, coulda, woulda spot.

Sorry you were misinformed. I believe the team the poster is talking about was in the senior open 4 division and they were then placed into another divsion.. smile

no disrespect or anything but honestly do you believe if it was another gym (like an underdog gym) who had the same problem they would be allowed the chance to go again? seriously i enjoyed this competition without a doubt but their were some things this weekend that i didnt like!

I agree there was definetly unfair placements and i believe there were favorites at this competition not to be disrespectful and hating but CA definetly got favored and it was frustrating to listen to and watch but that is cheerleading for you

they were not allowed to "go again" a routine can not be judged without jumps pyramid baskets or a dance . the second time they went thats all they were judged on even though they decided to throw the whole rutine because it was more fair. if you ever go to any major nationals (NCA, cheersport, BUTBT, jamfest) they do the same thing when someone is injured so bad they can no longer continue the routine, however most teams just start from where they are being judge CA decided to throw the whole thing. if it makes you happy all of the stunts that fell fulling up on the first preformance day 1 counted in their score, tin no way did they get a second chance

The Rule says that they are scored from when the injury occurs.. But the rule also says they have to throw the routine full out from the start. The reasoning behind this is so when they throw the part that is being judged they are as tired as they would normaly be at that part of the routine.. Rather then having the team start in the middle of the routine and there fresh.

Woah thats weird, what team was that???? Ive never heard of a team doing that. Why not compete with the same team you competed with on day 1?? I guess what ever it takes to win.

It was California all stars junior coed on the second day they brought out more boys they were in last place at the time and because they added more they pushed magic and desert storm out of there top two spots its wrong

No... It's the same 4 boys I have been coaching and competing with all season. I'm not sure where you are getting your information? But I will guarantee you that it was the same team both days. My kids work very hard and I am extremely proud of them!

I know this will probably just be passed by on this because

it is all about level 5 and Ca but i just have to say CONGRATS

to OC's senior lvl 2 team. I have seen them all year and they

have been struggling to hit their routine and this weekend they

hit it and from what i heard they actually had a girl break her

thumb in warm ups and quickly changed their routine. I dont

know for sure though...Nelson? is this true?

But still congrats to these girls

and also to all of the OC teams...you guys are looking great this season
