CaliCheerWatcher....just out of curiosity....why did you expect that? You had just posted a few days ago you heard our seniors still hadn't finished choreography and commented on how scarry that was....

I expected it because not only is your team large and cheerforces small but cheerforces small coed isnt that good JMO and i have never seen them hit their routine and i didnt expect things to change at this competition. And my hadnt finished their choreogaphy comment wasnt about you guys. I said i thought you guys were going to win in palm springs. It was about american someone on the team told me they hadnt finished their choreogrphy yet.

Aaahh.  Not a nice thing to say.  Rockiez did have a difficult day as did Xtreme.  From what I hear Rockiez were in choreography with Ray until late Sat. night and decided to compete the changes they had just learned less than 24 hours before.  One of the new stunts though totally cool looking turned out to be illeagal which cost them major points dropping them to 2nd.no That combined with the tumbling issues.

Xtreme did really well with thier first stunt putting up 7 full ups. Then they fell apart with the baskets and second stunt sequence.  I think they dropped 5 out of eight or nine of the second stunt.  I didn't see any major tumbling issues, though they didn't have the tumbling that Rockiez did with most of the team doing tucks and layouts.  I think they had only 1 double and no standing fulls or any standing through to double.

So, as an overview...  Xtreme had cleaner tumbling but was lacking in the difficulty of thier passes.  Rockiez had cleaner stunts but had an illeagal issue.

Um....our seniors definitely could have been cleaner BUT at no point did five out of eight or nine pods ever come down. At one point two pods came down early. As far as difficulty Xtreme had a TON more! Rockies routine just wasn't very memorable and I counted at least 7 touch downs during tumbling. Rockies stunting was impressive but they also has a pod come down and a basket toss that didn't even make it up. I'm not sure about the illegal stunt issue but I don't think that's the only reason Xtreme won.....they just looked better.

Oh yeah....and there was a lot more than tucks and layouts....I personally didn't count the number of fulls and double fulls but there were a lot more than CaliPrincess implied

Maybe their coaches should have read the USASF rules before competing their illegal skills - I hate when teams use "illegal infraction" as an excuse when the rules/information is so readily available. no

From watching both videos rockiez 100% out tumbled xtreme elite which is prettty sad because xtreme eite is large and rockiez dropped less stunts.

Xtreme elite dropped 3 out of 7 of their 1st partner stunts. Xtreme threw 9 tucks/layouts, 1 half, 4 fulls, and 1 double. They dropped 2 or their next 7 partner stunts. They hit their pyrmid minus 1 girl/base falling which i believe does count as a deduction.

Rockiez opened with 5 standing fulls 2 touched. 6 3 to fulls. 3 3 to doubles 2 touched. and 2 hand hand whip doubles 1 didnt double. 1st partner stunt they had 1 stunt fall. tumbling they had 9 fulls and 5 doubles. 2 touch downs.  1 touch in junps to backs. Baskets hit minus one that didnt even attempt to go. and Pyramid hit.

Overall rockiez had 7 touch downs and 1 stunt fall. Xtreme elite droped 5 stunts. Even though rockiez had more errors i believe XE had more points in deductions because touchdowns are only worth .5 and stunt drops are worth 1 full point.

I must apologize to rockiez on this one. After watching the vidoes you definatly were they better team JMO Sorry for saying you werent that good no You deffinatly stepped it up. I like the direction the routine is heading in. Although i didnt see anything there had to have been something illegal other than that i dont really get how you guys didnt win. hmm

Thank You, you saw what I saw.  Apparently the dismount on the partner stunts was illegal because it was inverted with only two bases.  I'm sure they will correct that.  lol

From watching the videos and the performances at the comp on sunday I dont believe either team looked like first place. They both had issues and they both had strong points. I think it is crazy that you all sit here and stir up trouble. Every team sunday worked hard and you all did a good job.
