Danny from pyramids when he coached sr int last year! it was hands down the best and most competitive season for me so far! he helped us work to win and win everything we strived for and i think we all became better cheerleaders on that team.

also eg from pyramids even though he's not around anymore (but should be!) just him counting off your routine makes you work harder than ever and he is a great coach and supporter

I have to agree with edgar is the best coach ever. He was always there to help the girls. We miss him so much he is the best and will be the best.

I think Jodi at Colony is great. She is really nice and taught us alot. Can't wait till next year. We are going to rock!

I'm old, so I've been around for quite a while. I've been through a lot of coaches as well, and I've also seen a lot of coaches coach. I've taught camps and saw coaches work there, I've been on a High School team back in the day when liberties were the most amazing thing on earth, I've worked at several different all star programs and got to see coaches through other programs, and have even worked in the cheergyms.com program and got to see first hand many of the fabulous cg.com coaches. I've also cheered for several All Star college teams and their coaches, but my all time favorite has to be Danny.

Like many kids have said, Danny has a way of bringing out that competitive drive in you. There are very few people in the world that others generally want to impress, and fewer of those people are coaches, but Danny is one of them. It's not what he says or what he does that makes you want to work harder for him, it's just who he is. I was coached by Danny for three years and in those three years I honestly cannot remember one thing he said that made me want to be a better cheerleader. I just wanted to be better so that he would notice.

Aside from that, Danny also has a great knowledge of cheerleading and has one of the most creative minds I've ever seen. His choreography and style is frequently imitated and I believe it is the basis of the cheergyms.com style. He can change his style of coaching to fit the team he is working with as well. I've seen Comp Danny, Mean Danny, Laid back Danny and my favorite cause it's so funny, Camp Danny (how fun would it be to watch the following MTV show: "Camp Jim vs. Camp Danny").

The first time i came into illusions, I met paige, i was nervous that i was gonna be treated differently than a person who actualy knew what they were doing, Paige did the total opposite, she made me feel like i was at home and it was my first day! On my first practice with Illusions sr. coed, i felt like a total idiot that didn't know what he was doing...well i sorta was now that i think about it...Paige still used her time before and after practice to teach me the basics (like stunting, tumbling...stuff like that).

I know she didnt do all that stuff for me just because i was the new kid, shes that way to everybody ive ever seen her work with.

And at practice, when someones sick, shes always the first person to step in and take his/her place. I know its not only me that has paige as a favorite coach, everybody wants a private with her, everyone wants to come tumble in her tumbling classes (and she has so many of them). Paige has always taken the time to be or coach, and our friend, to me thats pretty amazing.

So my hat's off to paige, aka "big paige" and im so sad that im probobly never gonna have the luxury of having her as a coach again

haha, Cory, ur too funny! Co-ed knows we have some awesome coaches, Katrina and Maritza are great coaches and really nice people! Paige is a wonderful coach as well, I second that. She is always dedicating her extra time and energy to help the kids with anything, you name it. She has a really effective way of teaching, where she can get through to people who don't understand what they are doing wrong, and she says it nicely where she is respected amoungst the team. I have never heard one bad thing being said about her from anyone. I hope Paige will have the opportunity to stay with cheergyms and another team will have the privelage of Paige being their coach!

I used to a cheerleadr for cheergyms it seems like a long time ago. I remember tha my favorite coaches were Jason and Edgar. I hope tha both still coach because they were the best when i was there and I hope that are still showing that they are the best. I miss cheer so much and I miss them the most. I hey are showing the world wha cheergyms has to offer.
