Let's do it all... we should all get to know all the cheers for all the gyms as well as the one main cheergyms.com chant. Whatever scarf you have... bring it... it has to relate to one of the cheergyms.com teams.
Patricia from Focus has ordered the green scarves... will someone from each of the other gyms please offer to purchase the scarves for the other gyms and sell them to the parents at that gym so you will all be united. If you are reading this and it is not on you gym's message board, please pass the word... see you all in your colors in Anaheim.
Just a suggestion. If 1 parent at each gym could contact Bonnie P from pyramids as to how she ordered tamborines for Dallas, as the team mom's from pyramids is ordering 60 for Anaheim and taking orders (first come first serve basis) and putting cheergyms on one side and Pyramids on the other. She may help you to order your own. You have to make labels to attach but they are cute. I know she can point you in the right direction.
Colony does not have an "e" in there. No worries because Colony will sadly not be competing in Anahiem-we were considered a half year team!! On behalf of the all stars, their families and the staff we wish everyone good luck!!
But I heard that a team at GSSA was told by the judges that their whistles were really annoying and detracted from their performances. It's cool to be loud but do we want the judges to be annoyed?
I agree that ALL noise makers have to be used appropriately. Sounding off any kind of noise maker DURING a performance is annoying and distracting, not just to the fans and judges, but to the kids trying to perform.
So, if any cheer fans have any kind of noise makers, let's make sure we only use them as the kids are going onto the floor and after they perform. We want to be heard, not annoying and distracting.
I agree, I know that I and everyone around me at GSSA were completely annoyed with the whistles during Athletic Perfection's performances to the point that you could not enjoy the performance. Let's not be annoying, lets just be spirited and supportive of our teams with our voices and our attire!
I guess the whistles are just a matter of opinion. One of the Junior girls put quite a bit of work into making all the coaches here at Motions a whistle with a nice looking band to hang it on.
I'll take the risk of being annoying, but Amanda put some work into this whistle and this is one coach that is going to get some use out of that whistle in Anaheim.
