OC, Squirette, Footnotes, and Starstruck usually bring their dance teams. 


   Yeah -- but its on a thursday -- SCF was going to go(and bring all teams this time) until it they put it thursday, 1 week before the elite teams leave for dallas (NDA).  Not sure if OC is going (I don't think so).   I think if you have cheer teams then you will probably show up, but  -- thats 3 days of school lost (wed-travel, thrs-compete, fri-travel)  unless you are off for the week as a winter break.   I have feeling the dance end will be small this year.  But maybe I will be wrong.

One of the coaches at our gym, last night said, "What's up with JAMZ in February this year?" Anyone got the scoop on why they switched the date?

Didn't they originally plan to have 2008 Nationals early too....but then they switched the dates back to March again? Not sure why, but that is just what I remember.....

I made flight arrangements for my family to leave after school on wed and leave first thing friday morning. I plan on my kids going to school all wed and half of friday.... Its really not that bad.  I hope south coast changes their mind!  I loved watching their routines last year at this comp. If anyone is from their program, i hope you guys change your mind!

West Coast Mavericks will be going:)

I am soooo excited to see ALL TEAMS, but I am really happy to hear that I get to see West Coast Mavericks. I have a friend who has a daughter with this gym and have heard some awesome things about this gym.

This competiton is "OFF THE HOOK FUN" and everyone always brings their "A" game to the mat, keeps me sitting on the edge of my seat with excitement....not to mention how fun the JAMZ staff makes it for all the cheerleaders! JAMZ is the FUNNEST COMPS of all, the venue is huge, offers nice food, nice staff and wonderful seating!! If your not going to this comp...maybe mention it for next season! The cheerleader get wonderful participation awards and the Winners get awesome awards...Very Nice!!

I heard a few years back POWER won a PAID BID to worlds, but then the owner of POWER had a fall out with JAMZ? Not sure how true this is, but it would be awesome to see POWER attend this event again... Can't wait to see Fierce, Special Needs Teams, Mavericks, So Cal and everyone else there!

Last year awards were fairly early (for JAMZ) if I can remember right like 8pm or so.....hopefully it will be the same thing.  A couple of years ago awards were around midnight!!!

about 6 years ago they use to have their nationals in late january. the next two years when i came back for my cousins competition it was in march and now its in february. i think its just the way they are and it probably varies as the teams vary year to year.

I also think that Macs did get ripped off because they hit a pretty good routine at worlds, why they didn't make second day I don't understand...
