My Competition Re-Cap:

First of all, this was way too early for my butt. I woke up at four am!!! : / And with a busted knee, hobbling around on crutches all day long, it wasn't my typical competition day. (In all the years of being a part of the cheer world I've never broken a bone or gotten injured. But, tell me how I can be chasing my two year old around and hit the coffee table so hard that I can chip my knee cap and tear ligaments??? BEWILDERING!) Anyway, it was a good day for our teams, we have done a lot of changing since San Jose, and put our injured (not anymore) kids back in our routines. Of course, we had some mis-haps, but we also had our triumphs. A few of our teams were throwing new skills on the floor and they hit!

Stealth -
I seriously love this gym! It's just so sweet to me that this gym is run by a husband/wife team. Their love and dedication toward this sport shines through on their athletes faces. You can tell this gym is truly family and I commend them for that. Their teams were strong and performed their butts off! I love the pace of their routines and cleanliness. They remind me of a "young" So Cal Elite All Stars. The new uniforms are beautiful even though I was told they were just delivered at 3:30 am this morning!!! I must admit, I am also partial to this program because Jasen and Dee Dee (husband/wife owners) were my US Spiritleaders Camp leaders when I cheered!!! Lol.

Victory Cheer Company -
All I gostttaaa say is Victory's youth level 1 was off the hook. Full squad back bend kick overs!!! They definitely had my mouth open for a while!!! Their other teams were good also, very simple, very clean. Their small 5's uniforms were super cute! I love the white incorporated on the uniform. Small 5's opening was eye-catching with the toe hsp fulls and they had pretty jumps. Nothing too difficult, full-ups/tic tocs etc.

Pacific Coast Cheer -
Unfortuately, I did not get to watch too many of their teams. Their large junior 2 was very good and so was their junior coed level 4. Love the Celebrity choreography!

Maximum All Stars -
Definitely the hottest uniform today! I love it, love it! This program makes me think about GymTyme from Louisville, KY. They had some kick butt teams today and I noticed it. I really enjoyed their Small Junior 3. Very good.

American -
A force to be reckoned with! All of their teams were worth watching. Flawless!!! It was great to see the American coaches teamed up with the Stars Extreme coaches also. It makes me anxious to see their level 5's! Thanks for making the drive down from Bakersfield to perform! It was definitely worth your time. :)

Apex - Major upgrades on the uniforms!!! I love the World Cup looking skirt. Senior open 4 had a great deal of difficulty and performed well! I was so sad to see the partner stunt fall during the tic toc part. I love it!!!

Now, back to icing!!! YUCK!

i went to this competition today and i must say that i enjoyed every bit of it. i believe every team deserves a round of applause in my eyes there wasnt one team that looked tragic or "too sloppy" today.

Apex- this team surprised me today... i got so use to the team being robbed of certain things but they came out today to prove people that they can be just as good or better than all the other level 4 teams out there in california, and for that i will give them snaps in a z formation! great job apex!

West Coast- some of these teams struggled today. i believe they need a little more time, but this team has huge potential! i enjoy this gym a lot and im always excited to see what they will bring to the floor.

Victory- their level 5 was great today! so many people discredit this team for the kind of gym they are, but this team is truly amazing! they have very talented girls of all levels! and im excited to see what they will bring for the rest of the season!

Fierce- junior level 2, senior level 4, senior level 5, and senior level 3 knocked me off my seat today! i believe level 5 got robbed today because the difficulty in the stunts were way up to par and they were very clean today! and that senior 4 never disappoints me, even when they do look a little sloppy. i believe fierce deserves a standing O! this gym is doing some really inspirational stuff! their special needs team brought tears to my eyes and im really excited to see what the future holds for this gym! great job fierce!

Pacific Coast- i gotta love this team! the energy they bring when the come to the floor is phenominal! their routines are always entertaining and i never get bored of watching this gym! im kinda sad they didnt have a senior 4 this year! it wouldve been a great competition between fierce and PC. this is a great team and a great organization!

American- i felt like i havent seen this gym in a while! i use to always ask what happened to American and where did they go?! but it looks like today they showed that they never left. this gym is amazing and has a great staff! i hope to see their small senior 5 return next season. they were always great to watch.

once again good job to all gyms today! they all looked great!

I mean no disrespect but there really wasn't a merger between American and Stars Extreme....they only have 1coach from SE....the rest went to Xtreme Elite

how did maximum remind you of GYMTYME, really???

i don't understand how you would compare a program as HUGE and PRESTIGE as GYMTYME to maximum.

really, i really want to know. not trying to be mean, but you just put this maximum gym WAY WAY UP THERE. care to explain youself? i would love to make some kind of sense behind your comment.

i just moved here from the ville and I KNOW GYMTYME, and i saw maximum, please let me know.

WOW! i beg to differ if there was a school for competitive cheerleading FIERCE COACH would graduate at the top of her class.. someone needs to change your litter box! its just her opinion shes not saying that they are as good as gymtyme shes saying their LOOK reminds her of YOUNG GYMTYME.. read it carefully. your comment is totally uncalled for!

they are a very focused gym who works hard for what they do... sounds cliche.. but you can see it in all the athletes and coaches face when you see them compete.. i really like this gym and i really hope to see them at worlds this year.
