Infinity is a new program in Pasadena. I think they only have one team. They were ok for a new program but I think anyone seriously interested in cheer in the area would probably go to Victory.
I was there but missed a lot of the drama. I did see security come in and take out a few people but was too far away to see everything going on. Glad I missed it. There was a lot going on yesterday. Delays from security, delays from Central Coast Shock Wave throwing up all over the spring floor and had to wait while they cleaned it all up - yuck. Victory was great - loved their Youth 1 and Senior 2 and Senior 5. Senior 5 deserved Grand Champs but if West Coast hadn't dropped a stunt it would have been close, but I think Victory overall still would have one. Spirit was lots of fun and their crowd is always so spirited - pun intended, but West Coast's crowd gave them a run for their money. I wasn't sure what teams were involved with all the security, but don't think it would have been WC's coaches - I know them and they are really good people. Must have been a parent issue. I was a little sad this event was smaller than usual. I always like Jamfest Pasadena - wish more teams would attend. I think Cheerpros State Championships happening same weekend kept some away. CF used to come to this comp but haven't seen them in the last couple years.
Omg, I didn't see the Supreme issue, but did the WCA....I also witnessed A team that crowded the stage to watch action....they were so rude had no respect that other people in the stands wanted to see them.....Jamfest should of took better control over the situation because the next day at cheerpros every time a team would go up to perform the announcer reminded each team to sit down so the judges as well as the other people could see! I am glad my gyms coaches and parents have class, dignity and respect...
