What are the results for all the other level teams.  I only see the Senior teams listed. What about tiny, mini, junior, senion, dance teams, solo groups. Who won the grand champions award POWER?  What about the paid bid who got that award?  We were in Sacramento and just dying to hear the results of the san jose competition.

just want to clear a few things up that have been asked or said on the message board and clear up any confusion.

1. i would like to say on behalf of our whole organization thank you to all who supported us this weekend, and a big thanks to cf! the staff and athletes here at nor cal appreciate it.

2. nor cals team names are a nor cal "thing" not a "roy thing". while we do appreciate everything roy has done for the program in the past we are still nor cal  and will remain nor cal no matter who the coaches are.

3. for the comment asking about how the sister teams feel now, cf and nce have always supported eachother no matter the outcome of the competition and still do.

4.  Finally no there is no 20 year old on any one of nor cals teams. i know this for a fact because i am the guy everyone is questioning. my name is john and i am a coach as well as participant on nor cal elites coed level 4 and coed level 5 team. this is my last year i make the age cut off to be on the senior teams and no i am not 20 i am 19 years old born on september 15 1989 and make the age cut off by a few months. if you have any questions or suspicions that i am an inelligable member feel free to walk up to me and ask to see my license ill have no problem showing you, and it would probably be a lot more effeicient then getting your information through the grape vine or through a message board or even my myspace.

any more questions or comments needing answering feel free to contact me or any other nce staff member at our gym

definitely not impressed. based on their lack of level 4 tumblers and stunt technique, I think they should have been level 3

they are 3 haha. they have a coed 4 too. they were fun to watch and got 1st

This team has lots of potential but they just seem to have messy technique in their stunting and tumbling.

I find it interesting about the mistakes by judges comments. I have heard that a team got their scoresheets back and they had a score on it and not one comment! How do you go back and tell a team that you placed where you did but we don't know what they liked or disliked about your rountine? I would really like to know what the heck happened and I would like to hear what the judges have to say about giving a number vs. A number after deductions. I think this is absolutely unacceptable!

I don't see how Starstruck beat One in Sr 4. Starstruck was doing round off backhandsprings and a few tucks. I saw maybe 4 layouts.

I would like to take the time to congrats Power on a great showing Once again their teams looked polished and in control. I know there a lot of people talking about how they lost all of these great kids and bla, bla, bla. Well, they just keep knocking it out of the park. That program jsut proves why it is good, consistently doing the right things. Great job and how are your teams so clean this early in the year ?

Completely agree, Power still looked amazing even after the changes they went through.

Can someone post the morning results??   I don't know why American Championships needs a week to put them on their website.

Kudos to those teams that went into Sunday as underdogs and won, there were a couple surprises for sure!

The judges were consistant the ENTIRE weekend.  They rewarded for being clean and sharp.  That's what Starstruck was clean and sharp.  Perhaps they didn't get their points from tumbling but this is not a tumble off it's a cheerleading competition.  There are more elements in a routine.  Starstuck did well in the other elements of the routine.  They looked more polished that One.

And you would know that the judging was consistent how? Are you one of the judges? Were you the deductions judge? Because that judge was way off their game this weekend? Two flyers hit the ground and only 8 points in deductions? A whole half side of a pyramid doesn't go up and they only got 1 point in deductions? And I am not just talking about this division.

If you are talking about POWER, 1 last element of the pyramid did not hit on one side, in no way did the entire pyramid go down, even on one side.  Actually most of the components of the pyramid hit, so people need to get over it.  POWER clearly was the cleaner team, and as far as difficulty, it was a pretty even match, other than Kiara, and 1 does not make the "team".  JMO

You are correct when saying it is not a tumble off. The other person is correct when they say the judges were off. And how would anyone know if a team was cleaner than another if the scoresheets had no comments? Clearly there are some issues!

I agree, Power should have won at this event. Personally i thought cheerforce was better, but at AC competitions the cleanest team has always won. So Power was the right choice, They were cleaner.
