i honestly dont think this is someone from fierce, i think its someone trying to represent fierce in a bad way. just because a certain team is not trying to pay attention to your team and only theirs at a competition, doesnt mean theyre being rude! theyre trying to focus.. whats the harm in that? im not from fierce but im quite sick of people picking on this gym, their are other gyms in california.. get off of fierces butt because they are honestly not thinking about you guys!
When you say the judging was awful... What in particular do you mean and why? Also a good way to voice your concerns over any of the hosting companies, would be to contact John from POWER or the NCAA. He actually started a post where you can put some of your legitimate concerns. Im sure he will swift through them and bring the concerns up with GSSA through the new NCAA orginization. It's worth the try :)
It is hard for us to believe judging is fair sometimes, because we know that the cheer circuit keeps getting smaller and smaller, but we have to trust in the system or help change it if we feel it needs to be better. The only way to change things, is to voice your opinion to the right people in the right way.

First of all... whomever THAT is up above... I hope to God you do not represent our company, because if you do, I'll make sure that you are not a part of this company. Now... :) (sighs) on a better note . . .
The competition was GREAT! I had the priveledge of going to watch and i was very impressed by the socal teams.
West Coast: LOOOOOVVVEEDD their choreography! Definitely Stingrays, and it showed. Overall they had very good teams! I was happy to see their level 5 team... great start for a first year team!
SCV: 12 teams from this program! WOW! I was most impressed by this program at the competition. Their crowd support and fan support was HUGE and their parents were super duper courteous. They kind of give me a "so cal elite" feel to their routines. What I mean is.... their routine style is like theirs in some ways. And for me that's a good thing! So Cal Elite is aaaammmaaaing. DUH. Even down to their lower level teams were great. I'm very impressed with this growing program. :))))
OC: Overall good routines. All looked a little shakey and had their problems, but it was their first competition. For the elements that hit in their routines, they were great. Especially liked their senior level 3 (not open). They were very creative. :)
California Flyers: Amazing creativity. Shelly, the owner is just so darn creative like that. But afterall, she was a Top Gun, Miami, FL athlete! CRAZY! She always has a way of drawing you into the next big thing that is going to occur in the routine. You can't stop watching! Small level 4 was off the hook. Probably the cleanest and best hit routine all day long.
Pacific Coast Cheer: Good choreography done by Celebrity Cheer. I like the new uniforms, an upgrade from last year! They were very flashy on the floor and looked great. Had a few teams with girls wearing different uniforms. Don't know what that was... but very good routines with clean lines and difficulty across the board. I love their music!
Anyone else you wanna know about ask!!!

Let's face it. These teams are not level 5 material. West coast had like 6 fulls, no doubles. Victory was a mess everywhere... tumbling and stunting. Spirit Athletics has like six cross overs from small senior 3 to small 5. OC has not even two rows that can hit the jump section.
I mean it really... What happens when they go up against the other small 5's in cali?? [california, cheerforce, fierce, power]
