Negative Nelly's

There as been A LOT of bashing going on through the past few weeks and its only the begining of the season.  SOOOO....With that said I just wanted to say good luck to all teams out there working as hard as we are to get clean, fun, skilled routines on the mat, level 1 through 5.  I know we all work our tails off getting ready for these first few competitions.  So good luck to everyone when taking the mat for the first few times this season!!!

I second this.   Keep in mind that this is the first or second time for some gyms when you're at a competition and routines are a work-in-progress, getting stronger and ready for Nationals as they go along.  I don't mind constructive criticism, but there is no need for nastiness and petty hurtful comments.

THANK YOU! I have been saying this all along. This is just the start of comp season. Many teams are still a little off. Competing this early will only help you to know what needs to be cleaned up, tighter, worked on, taken out, added etc. Good luck to you all this season, and to everyone competing this weekend. Fierce, Power, One Athletics, Cheerforce.. etc good luck in small 5! I'm sure it will be intense!

I was just on MySpace and I was absolutely discussed by some of the things I saw on some peoples myspaces. What is the cheer world coming to? 1st I dont get why do people feel the need to talk about other gyms at all, 2nd why on earth would anyone in their right mind post rude bulletins,  comments, and blogs about their rival gym on MySpace. Some people even dedicated whole sections on their MySpace pages to their rival gym.  Are you serious? This is ridicules. Its one thing to have a rival gym, thats fine. But this is taking it way way way too far. Some people need I grow up. This is cheer; its supposed to be fun. Not a big fight. I hope these people realize they come from a really great gym that a lot of little kids look up to and a lot of people love and things like this just make your gym look really bad. There is no need to post these types of things, just let your cheerleading speak for itself.

With that being said I wanted to wish everyone luck this weekend. There are a lot of competitions and I hope everyone does amazing and no one gets hurt. Special good lucks to fierce, power, and cheerforce. I cant wait to see you guys in San Jose. In sure you will be amazing, you always are. The small senior 5 division is going to be intense.

Oh become a hippy and go to a warm fuzzy love fest.  Cheerleading is a competitive sport.  This is normal behavior in the world of sports.  Explian to me why we "must all get along", why we must "show the love".  Who cares if we want to dis another team, it should make the other teams victory that much sweeter, should they win.  With the way some of you oooooze with love for all, no wonder people do not consider cheer a sport.

OK....I know we all watch professional football, baseball and basketball and see the players getting along. The players from opposite teams smack each others butt's or help each other up when they make good tackles, hits or shots and they are still competitive sports. Can cheerleading teams not wish each other luck??? I personally would like to wish my competitor luck in hopes that they hit a flawless routine, so IF I happen to place higher than them, I know it wasn't because they didn't give it their best shot. There is no harm in wanting to win. But to talk **** like some of you people do is just plain FOUL and IMMATURE. Being a good competitor consists of some tact and decency. Knowing you won and winning with grace. Personally I think the **** talking is FEAR. So AGAIN I will wish all the teams out there that are working hard luck. I hope you work hard and it pays off. Yes we all want to win but, isn't being angry and talking **** exhausting??? Being nice is so much easier!!!

Good luck to all taking the mat this weekend!!!!
