The Showcase is open to all. Video is not allowed. Our new uniforms are amazing! Good Luck this season to all :)

Why no Video?
I think some of these programs that aspire to be good or recognized like the CA's, Stingrays, adn CheerAthletics of our sport just make themselves look silly by trying to hide there stuff like its sooo "top secret"

i agree. oc has nothing to hide there competing next weekend to and people will tape then and put it up. might as well not delay the inevitable.

It just seems so stupid! They have been a good program but no one is waiting on the edge of there seat to see what OC has this year!
We are cheering people it isnt the CIA

Well i can agree with oc. You get your choreography out there and people want to steal it.

I think since it is the start of the season and we have a couple of owners from other Gym's come watch ever year. Cant wait to see some great stuff from you all this season :)

Unreal!! It's not like OC is having a competition make an exception and not allow videotaping of just their routine. It's their showcase at their gym (or wherever they are holding it).

They will be out soon enough, just wait until then.

I agree with Tamara. Give OC a break. They will compete soon enough. Plus being rude is not the answer. How do you know OC's material is bad this year. They just might surprise you. So quick to judge! Regardless, it's a new season and good luck to everyone!!!

If you read the whole point was "why?" No one wants to steal thier stuff or anyone elses. I was just commenting on how sill it was for these teams to gaurd thier routines like they are some state secret.
And we made the point that "they will be out soon enough so why dose it matter!"

They are not guarding their routines like they are state secrets, in fact, I recall reading that the showcase is open to anyone. They just don't want their showcase videotaped...big deal. Showcases are generally more informal, I totally get why they wouldn't want it being taped.

Now, if we were talking about an already competed performance at a competition, then my stance is "Game on!"
