I really don't think any other all star teams are going.  At least none that visit this board.  Maybe one or two very small local gyms.  i'm pretty sure all other gyms that are more familiar to us are accounted for and they are going somewhere else.

Ho Hum...LOL

Yeah, I think spirit athletics is going, just checked their schedule and it doesn't say for sure.  I know I have seen them at that comp in the past.

THey always allow videotaping at their regionals.   I find it hard to believe they took cameras away, or camcorders.  You can tape right next to the professional guy (highly recommended for your best view).

I may not always love JAMZ comps, but I do love that you can video tape at their regionals also.  It almost makes up for the extremely long days smile.

I know!  But look at the bright side - We'll get in and out.  Coaches go back to the gym and start working on even greater stuff based on how things look on the floor and the judges feedback.  Trust me we'll have plenty of opportunity to be at comps from dusk til dawn. smile

But you pay a lot of money in comp fees and admission, etc.. etc... to be in and out the door.  I would prefer seeing how we stand against more than one or two teams in a division.  It's nice to get feedback from judges, but typically it differs quite a bit from comp to comp.   The problem has always been there are too many competitions to choose from, and until that changes you're going to have comps that start at 11 and end at 2.  I like Jamz competitions, but if they did away with half of them they would be much more enjoyable in my opinion.

Oh! I agree 100%.  However, at this stage in the game, 1 week to go, we can't do much about it.  I think we should make lemonade out of lemons (at least until JAMZ or the rest of the orgs make changes0.  The kids are so very excited! Just trying to keep it exciting for them.

Yes, you are absolutely right.   I'm sure it will still be exciting for them, and even if you don't have much competition, it doesn't mean you can't shoot for putting your best performance on the floor and getting a good score.   Good luck to all the teams!

It's a great way to start the season and see what you look like on the floor!  See how the judges like your uniform, your choreography, your skills because at some point you will run up against some big names at some big competitions.  Good luck to all this year!  Let the games begin!biggrin
