I think its tacky. It can confuse a lot of people who don't know there are two gyms. Not my cup of tea.

Well, neither Fierce has been around that long, so maybe the norther fierce didn't know about the other. Their uniforms look nothing alike. There is a whole lot of teams that have similar names. oh well!

They were different...and not a good different

I talked to one of their parents at the competition. These were not the uniforms they ordered, they are upset by the how they look but they didn't have much choice for the competition. Their uniforms are being remade the parent told me, but unfortunately they will have to wear those for their next few competitions. So we need to give them some sympathy and look for their new uniforms soon!

Nope, not sister gyms.
No affiliation whatsoever.
Styles couldn't be further apart.
And I agree with another poster - Fierce from Southern Cali should definitely take it as a compliment. aww

so do the Fierce (the no cal) when the WOW high point score? I would have thought Starstruck or a higher level team did - that what usually happens.

I thought that Starstruck won the Wow Award, can anyone confirm, it seems that someone else is stating that they did furious

I think Starstruck won the team award where if you had more than 3 teams they figured out highest average score and whoever had the highest got $500.

California Spirit Juniors got the highest score at the competition and won the full paid bid to the all level.

As far as any other awards, those are the only big ones I heard. There were some awards for choreography and congeniality and some teams won the Xtreme award for highest score at their level.
