Yes, would rather be alone. Many years ago we were the only large team combined with the small division. We went first, and even though we were better than just about every team, they didn't place us where we deserved to be. So no thanks.

Well that certainly got us pumped up for our next competition.

Cheer Odyessy - you all did a great job. Your teams did great acrossed the board.

All-Star Elite - Nice job ladies. You all must feel relieved to have that first competition out of the way. Fun routines to watch.

Callifornia Spirit Elite - what a pleasant surprise. You all did great and the routines look great this year.

Swat - we like the new look in your uniforms this season.

Over all we were quite impressed with the preformance last night. we think you all have gym or two nevrous about their seasons. A friend pointed out a gym coach up in the stands video taping minis to seniors in cheer and then dance teams as well.

That's beacuse that coach does not feel confident about her team that's why why else would you be video taping others peoples material ?

"Mind your own" That is the funniest phase on this board. If people "minded their own" then their wouldn't be a message board. Silly you!

The thing about the taping is, the announcer, time and time again, reminded people, nicely, that if you wanted a copy of todays performances to ORDER one. Yet, this individual sat up near (not next to him) the professional camera guy and kept the video camera rolling. That was just plain bold. Many people commented on this act and knew that this person didn't have a team on the floor. It's just bad business and it makes for others to look at this gym in a different light =(.

All the posters above act like no coach ever does that ? How do you think top gun videos get leeked on youtube or and other team ?

Well to me anyone who has the time and energy to videotape every routine must be worried about his/her own teams progress. Do people really think that these routines are going to stay the same. It's October 27, not January or February. I can say most gyms are probably going to change things up soon.

Why in the world would someone videotape themselves when they can pay money, order one, and receive it six weeks from now?? Okay, I'm being sarcastic. I videotape our routines and almost always there are very reputable gyms with their tri-pods set up taping all the gyms and teams, including ours. I'm usually flattered they're taping our routines too. I don't see it as a threat or a sign that they're worried or that they're going to steal our routines. People make too many assumptions!

Congrats to the winners yesterday and congrats to the first paid bid. Is it based on who received the highest score of the competition? A paid bid pays for the registration fees, does it cover anything else? Good job y'all!
