it is always a tough choice --- do you start 3 and work towards 4, or try 4 and if it doesn't work out move down to 3?
We are in the same dilemma; if you don't have full squad standing tucks, do you go 3?
The only senior 4 team I saw with full squad anything was Power and cheergyms.com. For the most part you can be successful and not have the full team tucks. I think this is one of the reasons level 4.2 is going to be HUGE in the future.
titan elite had full squad standing tucks and all but one toe handspring tucks.
Yes, there is the Senior team from Livermore that is missing. The program directors of the two gyms are not in agreement with what level the Senior team should be from Livermore. It is a toss up between 3 and 4. Remember last year they had a Senior level 3 team.
There other team you are missing is Senior Open lvl 3 too.
Well since they are competing October 26 and in early November don't you think they would of decided by now. Its less than 2 weeks away before their first comp. Talk about biting nails for the athletes.
I would think if the team is practicing as level 4, they can easily decide even a week prior to drop to level 3, it would be easy to make the adjustments. Going the other way would not be easy. One comment about the post that said this is the reason 4.2 is going to be huge -- no! This is not supposed to be the reason for 4.2! 4.2 is supposed to bring in or keep level 2 tumbling seniors who want to do more advanced stunts because "supposingly" we are losing them to high school cheer. I doubt but don't know for sure if the team we are talking about will even consider dropping to level 2 tumbling. I would certainly hope not.

I know, but many teams don't go level 4 because of tumbling. With this added division , you will see more gyms in that direction. Maybe not this year, but next season. We don't have one this year but I will for sure have one next season. I can think of LOTS of girls who can easily fit in this demographic.
Its on their schedule. Who knows though, only the youth team has their rountine.
I think it's definitely do-able to learn a routine even a few weeks before competing; I know because we've done it and did well that particular year. Of course you'd like to have more time to perfect it, but it doesn't always work out that way. I can't wait to see everyone's routines, it seems like ages ago since our last competition! Good luck to everyone.
Yes. All of the Nor Cal program will be attending this competion, with cheerforce being their sister gym why wouldnt they?
The only reason they call it their "sister gym" is so people who cheer in Northern Ca who want to cheer for Cheerforce will *consider* going to Nor Cal. They want to be affiliated with them so they can use their name and popularity...why cheerforce "sisters" with Nor Cal? I have no freakin clue....

Agree with the post that said if you can't go level 4 because of tumbling, go level 3 because the stunts are really not that different, check out the division rules.

It's because the one of owners of Nor Cal came from cheerforce and is still very much affiliated with them. that is also the same reason Nor Cal is sister gyms with so cal, because their coach came from there.

I thought they came from the former Champion Outlaws and hence the SO CAL/ NOR CAL relationship.

Only relationship is Roy coming from Champion Cheer Outlaws. Everyone else who coaches/owns Nor Cal is from Northern California. Sister gyms don't really mean much but rooting for each other at competitions.
