I fully agree Fierce Coach!  I hope everyone has a safe successful weekend.  Everyone will experience different successes this weekend, it might that girl on Senior 3 that lands all of her skills and stays in the air or it might just be getting your kid to the venue on time.  Celebrate this great weekend coming up, no one wants to walk into a hostile atmosphere!

Smiles are contagious!!!! You seem to me you should shift your interest to boxing or something a little more violent. Maybe get a little of that negative agression out! You seem a step beyond competitive..... what gym ticked you off????

Look at what makes other sports so fun to watch!  Its the drama between rivals!  No one tells colledge rivals to " just get along "  No one bats an ey when highschools fight against there cross town rivals!

There is a difference between having a rivalry with another gym and being flat out mean.....I will be the first to say that our gym has a rivalry with another gym and our two programs are NOT fans of one another, but I do not come on here just to bash them....in fact I don't bring up that gym's name...even when I might want to. No one is saying you're going to like all of your competition....but you don't have to be hateful....it just makes YOU look bad!

Actually....many athletes in professional sports are friends.....I don't see them bashing each other on a personal level on ESPN like some of you seem to enjoy doing.....again....a rivalry is different that being hateful!

I assure you my life is happy AND real....and if you are so happy in your "real world" why don't you make all these criticisms you have for your competition with your name attached? Or wait......you might actually have to be held accountable for what you say.....THAT, my friend, is what the "real world" is about.....not hiding behind your computer!

Actually...although many of the athletest are friends off court/fields/ect they are the first to tell you that on the court/fields/etc they are not friends.  You may see them laugh, give props and many other things but you will still see them put 100% of themselves into whatever they're doing. If that means the friend on the rival team goes down in the meantime, then so be it.  Where they are bigger than some of our "mean spirited posters" is that they can get over it when its all over.... and oh heck yea!  They do "BAG" on each other, in a friendly way, but sometimes its enough to make you cringe.

Let this stuff fuel you.  To the people who write ugly smut and take it to a personal level, grow up.  Take it the floor.  If you can't then be quiet but, as my parents would say, don't write a check you @ss can't cash.  If you can talk smack (not to be confused with the personal stuff) and can back it up then I say bring it!  I can't wait to see teams like that perform. They give their all and it pushes their competition to move right on up with em.  If they get beat, sure they'll get talked about but it makes me look even more forward to seeing what they (the athlete, the gym owner/choreographer) will come up with next time.

So, I guess I agree. Enough with the syrupy stuff.  Let's keep it real.  Go hard or go home!!!!!

This is so ridiculous and quite annoying if i may say so. Can we please get back on topic and discuss the upcoming competition in San Jose this weekend.....
