So how many gyms will be fielding a Special Needs Cheer team this year? I just love watching Cheergyms.com's team compete, it is a breath of fresh air during a long day at competitions!!
Thank you we are glad you think our team is a breath of fresh air. We will be back. All the same kids and have added a few more. We just got back from cheergyms.com SUmmer Camp-watch out, the ladies of Senior Red are on FIRE!!!!
I am excited to see so many gyms making sure there is a palce for every athlete to cheer!
Good luck to all see you at the competitions!

We've started a message board forum specifically for special needs coaches.
www.iasfworlds.org/messageboards/
After registering, send me a private message on that board telling me your name and gym and I'll give you access to the forum. It is only visible to the coaches and will be a good place to share ideas and comments about starting and running a special needs team.
I think everyone cries, I have looked over and caught my husband crying and its not out of sympathy either but out of pride, they look so awesome out there and they are always so excited to be performing you can see it on their faces, they are not even our kids but it feels like it and you feel an overwhelming sense of pride, and happiness.
Please don't think this was posted by someone from Nor Cal Elite; it was a carry over from another thread that some insensitive and thoughtless person decided to post here. I hope it is soon removed.
I would just like to say how great all the programs are that are doing the Special Needs Teams, Bless you all. Our gym is looking into doing one, but we haven't yet. What an awesome Blessing you all are. And thank God for those sweet athletes.
I can't believe how insensative people can be to one another..didn't your mother teach you that if you have nothing nice to say don't say it at all. I personally love Nor-Cal, my kids used to cheer them and I will always cheer them on.
