if im not mistaken two of cheergyms.com most talented cheerleaders left to go to CA even though the gyms are 8 hours away from each other im not sure how that will work out recruited or not, its alot of time and effort from the athletes.

Those 2 athletes grew up with my sons, 1 on the same team and the other was on their competition back in the day.  We also have another athlete who also grew up with my sons and on the same team went off to another team which was also competition and is now on CA with them all.  We have  been on CA Bullets for 2 years now......we make the trek, it's been ruff but well worth our time & effort.

They all practice and tumble together because they have been friends for a very long time.....this year those 3 decided to join CA...they were not recruited....yes they might have been influenced by seeing that we made it work...But they were not recruited....It's great to see so much talent back together again.!  GO CA

LOL...you left NCE because you didn't want to pay for your sons tution, then you went to Motions and tried to work a deal there, but Mortan said no free cheering at cheergyms.  Your son oldest son cheers with someone that was on CA and thats how your sons got to CA.  Cheering for free the first year.  Don't think people know the story.

Everyone knows that places like CA and Top Gun recruit.  Every gym does it.

Ouch

AGAIN! This thread has ended up bashing other gyms, athletes etc. I was under the impression this was supposed to be a positive topic?! Can we please get back on a more positive note! furious

Wait sorry, they left norcal to try and save money..by commuting 400 miles away to another gym?? Good one.

And anyways back on topic, I think the teams Im going to watch for are: Airborne, Power, and One Athletics.

I don't think they are driving down south, they are living with someone there.  since when does cheerleading mean more then spending quality time with your child..I would never send off my underaged kids 400 miles away to live with someone else just for cheer, but then I guess thats just me loving my kids too much.

I always look forward to seeing Power perform for the first time each year.  I remember seeing them at Jamfest in SF last year they are amazing.  I think Airborne has some good teams, and Nor Cal should be interesting this year.  Merging with Cheer Xplosion they gained some good tumblers.  One girl I believe already cheered on NCE level 5 team and one girl from CX was on Power.  Also thier level 3/4 team last year was pretty good.  It will be interesting to see how it affects both gyms.  I'm also looking foward to seeing AA again this year.  As far as One Athletics the jury is out on that one since they have never competed before!!!  Anyway should be a good season.  Also don't forget these are not the only teams in the area and I'm sure everyone is going to be bringing thier A game.

i know alot of kids from CA get full ride scolorships to luisville for cheer. im not saying thats why those kids parents decided to let there kids go so far away for cheer but it could be a huge possiblity for  a parent who wants  the  best for their child but dosent have enough money to give them what they  will be offered by cheering at CA. just a guess though

Both Swat and Riptide had good teams last year.  I think they are starting to come into thier own.  Excited to see what they bring this year.  Fame should be interesting.  Don't most of the girls from Legends go there now?  Last year Legends level 3 teams were really entertaining.  I saw them at JAMZ and they wowed everyone.  I like some of the smaller gyms as well.  Excited for the season to start.

if you were actually interested, or knew ANYTHING about the situation you would understand it wasnt even close to their parents "ponding" their kids off.  You sound more interested in taking shots at them from behind your anonymous post.

I believe the Sacramento Royal All Stars will be a suprise.  I am so excited to be on the team this year (my daughters).  It is slightly smaller than last few years we have about 6 or 7 teams total cheer and  dance .  I enjoy it much more than previous years because it is quiet. We have new people helping out they are great. The fewer people the fewer problems.  I am going to say it like it or not no more baby momma drama (please dont take this personal it is a joke).  The teams are looking really good.  The uniforms are impresive. I have only heard a few rumors started by other people; like we are closing or all the coaches left. Of course these are all false.  When other's start rumors it makes us feel like celebrities with the popperazzi (sp) after us. LOL  I think we are the team to look out forGOOD LUCK TO ALL GYMS and TEAMS  I  look forward to watching the teams. I just love going to the different competitions it has become a family affair.  I never imagined my husband would be so excited about cheerleading.  This is such a great sport.  One thing I just dont get is they all seem the same to me what is the difference in the differnt competitions

Exciting, good luck to your teams.  It's so funny how competition cheer changes the way dads look at cheerleading, and moms.  I think the difference competitions is what they offer as far as for the athletes and parents, and price.
