Please please do not open a cheergym in any of these towns. We do not need to see cheerleading intergrated with step dancing and that shabua roll call stuff in it. Yes I did say it

And the fact that you said it shows your ignorance, I agree with the other posters that anything that helps the youth in ANY community stay out of trouble is a good thing. Who made you the cheer commissioner to say not only what should be done in cheerleading but what community NOT to do it in? FYI-Tracy has a nice cheergym Athletic Perfection. My niece is on one of their teams, I have seen them at competiton and have had the chance to see their new gym. They do not perform the step dancing you spoke of, but if they did that would be their chose and nothing wrong with it because again it is THEIR choice. It never ceases to amaze me the ignorance of individuals, you have surely proven that point with your ridiculous comment.

Not only was that very ignorant thing to say but very racist, seeing the step dancing is culturally an typically an all black college thing . This thread needs to be closed before anyone else is offended, it's too late for me, I already am.

Thanks

I usually just lurk here now and again as I am fairly busy with my girls.  I had to chime in on this one.  I take offense to people saying Tracy is like Oakland and that there shouldnt be a cheer gym here.  I live in Tracy and have three daughters who cheer for AP.  Our city is just fine, and so is our gym.  We have very talented athletes and are very proud of them.  Who cares if one of the girls doesnt know where Richmond is. After this thread I am sure she does, and won't make that mistake again.  It's certainly nothing to get your panties in a bunch over.

I also wanted to quickly add that any city should be able to open a cheer gym if they like.  Sports are a great way to keep kids out of trouble build self esteem etc.  Whoever made the above post was obviously trying to get a rise out of people.
