Agreed, non profit or for profit.  You have a choice to be at a gym which means if you dont like it dont go.   Even if they paid their coaches double (which they dont, i want to be clear so that rumor does not start)valmost all non profits have paid employees and it would not be any different from any other gym.  DUH!  how much does the president of the red cross make?  Enough said.  Although I do know first hand they do try to take care of their coaches expenses, It will never be enough for all their hard work and efforts.  I get an affordable program that still ranks high.  My children are all happy, I am happy.  It is affordable for me and I am able to allow more than one child participate.  You think we dont already know this information.  Yes we do!!!!   So whatever you are trying to start wont get you far simply because we already know.  Maintaining a non profit takes 10 times more work than a for profit and they are doing an amazing job.  They can always go for profit it is much easier, but they choose not to because this allows the families like us to fundraise.  The only difference is that Royals is doing the work, where as the gyms that have booster clubs for their non-profit the work is done by the parents. I dont have time to do this work so thank you Royals for doing this for me.   I believe the coaches and Directors have great hearts, they do this because they want too and enjoy it and no other reason.

There is not intention of starting any thing here.  This was just a clarification about a previous post that mentioned that the coaches do not get paid.  If the members aren't being told this then they should be informed and they also have a right to know the amount that is paid to each employee.

Didn't see this in the list of valid Non-Profits on the Federal site.  Are you sure they are non-profit?

According to this website they have received funds under a non profit program.  So they must be non profit in order to receive these funds unless they just said they were even though they were not.

It may be that who ever registered the UCF name just registered it under the gym name and didn't think to register it under the booster club name. Obviously you don't know so why would you try to start an unfounded rumor just for the sake of stiring up crap on a message board.

For what ever reason and only you know it you seem to want to bash UCF. If you were a past customer and you left then BE GONE. If you never attended their gym then you are only voicing your opinions on hearsay and to that I say GROW UP AND GET A LIFE.

I am not from UCF infact I don't live in Northern Ca. I live in Southern Ca. I am actually from another one of those gyms that routinely get's it's share of bashing. If you don't know the fact's then why bring it up. It only causes bad feelings between rival gym's. I am from a very reputable gym but I won't wear anything that says my gyms name on it at a competition because I get very tired of the looks and mean stares that pass from PARENT TO PARENT. I have had ENOUGH. I am just there to enjoy watching my child perform.

How did a discussion about the royals turn into a UCF bashing?  It seems like everytime something is discussed about the royals the conversation turns to UCF.  The art of DEFLECTION.  It seems to happen everytime.

Well i certainly hope that everyone is keeping a "clean house" and honesty is the number one gym moral/ethic.   Because in the end it the little ones that "just want to cheer" and cheer for an entire season.

silly me?  I didn't see any of this.  it appears YOU and only YOU have more than a mouthful to say about UCF.  Take care little one, there is more to life's lessons than to jump on this board and say a team is rude.

This post was started about "where are the cheer gym owners going?"  It was not about royals and not about UCF.  I dont understand the problem.  It seems like Morgan and Janon are friends why cant everyone else be.  Now I know why they are taking a break they are sick of the mess.  This is just plain silly.   If they can get along and support each other why cant you?  I wonder if these messages are being started by  non royal and non ucf members who like to see a discussion turn into drama.  Some Instigator.  Please moderator take this down.  This is going to get out of control and I think if you remove it it will eliminate this getting worse.  To all those reading this site.  Take this with a grain of salt.  We really dont know who is typing these messages and they may be from a gym on the east coast who read something before and signs on and creates a conflict that really is NOT there.   Just like Jerry Springer the audience will create something or make it worse.  I am starting to believe this is the case, because from what I see UCF and Royals dont have any BEEF With eachother...
