I just went to the ROYALS website and Morgan the President is no longer on the site. SHOCKING. She was the reason that program has been so amazing. Is everyone leaving? What is going on?

Good luck to Morgan and her new adventures outside the cheer arena. This was something she really wanted to do for some time and everyone should be happy for her.

All the players are still in tact at UCF. Janon is spending more time at home with her new babies, but still is a valuable coach at UCF. When you have toddlers you need to be able to enjoy those precious moments of your childrens' lives. She will still be heavily involved in outside work, coaching, compeitions and camps for UCF. She didn't go anywhere...just a different role for her.

We cheer at UCF and Janon is gone - not just in a different role. I would be surprised to see her back coaching at the gym or involved at the gym in any way.

Hmmm...First of all I have to say, it's a bit interesting that we, which implies more than one, are not at school when this was posted, being that the majority of girls that could possibly write this are in the Elk Grove Unified School District and IN CLASS! smile

How do I know this, easy, I have been teaching high school for 13 years now full time, 11 of those years in the EGUSD.

I guess I should feel flattered that my name is even of interest! That must mean I have left my mark. GO FORCE! Yes, it is very sad that I have given up my business that I started 5 years ago...and let me tell you, it has been the craziest 5 years of my life. The same year I started the company I got married and now I have the most wonderful 3 year old son and 1 year old daughter. For those UCF parents who are reading this, thank you for spending much time entertaining and loving my two children.

To set the record straight, yes, I am still employee at UCF, I'm just not an owner. I am currently working on choreography and routines for all of our outside work and look forward to spending time with the cheerleaders as needed. After 5 years of blood, sweat, and tears one just can't simply walk away!!! I am enjoying life with my family and know that UCF will continue to run smoothly with both of the owners in place. In my heart I truly know that the UCF FAMILY will grow tremendously, teach life lessons and skills, strive towards perfection and continue to be "Bigger Better the Best By Far!" PLus, when my sweet baby girl is 3 LOOK OUT cheer world. (With that said she'll probably play soccer!)

Thanks for jumping on this board and setting the record straight. It's nice to know that a rotation of duties can be done in the gym. You don't see that very often. Best of LUCK to UCF! They are going to be Fantastic this season! GO GET THEM FORCE!

eeehhhhh???? more people than Morgan left Royals. Corina and Bonnie and cindy and some others are all gone. everyone is saying that they are just takin really only vacation but we don't think its true. royals what is going on?

it feels like everyone is running away and the customers are the only ones showing up?

its just a really weird vibe at the gym. something that can't be described. lts almost like the cheerleaders are going to show up to a scheduled practice and expect the gym doors to be open and there will be a bolted door to greet the cheerleaders and a note on the door that just reads - S O R R Y blankstare

It is very sad that the economy is so bad that so many people are having to make other choices and give up some things they enjoy. Hopefully this gym royals and any others can pull through this rough period. Its not just coaches but parents and cheerleaders are having to walk away from the sport because it really is an extra expense. People are losing houses and jobs. I am sure that these coaches who left had to make tough decisons. The sam with the owner form UCF who is now a coach. there are other circumstances to these decisions. hope for the best as we watch so many people struggle to get through these hard times. try not to asssume that things are as bad as it feels, but be encouraging and help these small gyms survive by being loyal and give them encouragement to keep thier doors open for our children.

man is it rough and every one is feeling it Novemeber 2008 can not get here fast enough... lets make some changes every one get out there and vote.

I completley understand, I am coach who works at the gym alot, and right now its not making enough for money for the time I put in. With gas so high and everything else being raised I need to get antother job and work at the gym less or figure out something. Food is going to have cut out! haha

Sometimes coaches and owners need breaks too. During the month of May I have been in the gym but not as active as after 6 years I need some down town. Our kids got a month off and so did my staff so now I am taking that time too. I dont see anything wrong with it. I remember a couple of years ago Danny and Morton did not coach any teams in the gym and they did fine. If you train your staff properly your kids will understand that time is needed every so often to stay balanced as a person and as an owner.
