Yeah -- thats why I'm sitting here at work (with my starbucks) so that I can pay for all-star dance and her ballet/pointe clasess too.

Ha!!

Here's one --
When its 70 out its shorts weather in No Cal, when its 70 out its turtlnecks and sweaters (parkas) in So Cal.

In No cal they know how to drive in rain, in So Cal -- we freak out and it becomes STORM WATCH 2008 (part 10)

OMG that is so true in regards to the rain. If just one drop falls it does become "STORM WATCH 2008" and it's on the news all day long.blankstareblankstareblankstareblankstareblankstareblankstareblankstareblankstareblankstareblankstareblankstare

Yea well, I reread what I wrote and apparently I'm not STICK up... sheesh

You guys are so cute. I was just telling Nosebag that I'm not out of the loop totally yet. My youngest wanted to cheer for football because she liked going to Emily's games so I put her in Pop Warner.

But once she gets the bug.... all stars is right around the corner!!! Adam wanted to do cheer again, but his friends in school are doing football so he wanted to be with them. Few of you know the situation with my younger two but this is the first year we have full custody and so now they can finally be enrolled in sports. So I had to let them choose whatever they wanted even if I didn't think they would like it just because they have never been able to do so.

Amelia didn't want to cheer but she changed her mind once she saw her brother was going to play football. We ALL know what  happens once you cheer!!!

Lady W: Post more pics of that darling daughter of yours. I want to see new ones!!!

Thanks you guys. YOU'RE the best!!! XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

I respectively disagree with nor Cal knowing how to drive in the rain, they may be better than so Cal...but Heavens above, there wouldn't be sooooo many accidents if people would just figure out to slow down a little when it's raining...what on Earth would happen if it...uh....gasp...snowed!!!  ;)

Oh shoot! I forgot what the rules were!  Was I allowed to comment on someone's opinion?  There's a black car outside my house, but it hasn't driven close enough for me to see if it's a sedan.  Wait, here it comes...oh. no!  I think it.....

Please there are teams in both places that have girls who barely have tucks. Not sure why gyms are doing this, but if you watch worlds, the teams who are winning are throwing near team fulls. Work it!

Nor Cal = People look kinda cute when they party
So Cal (especially LA)= people look absolutely FABALOUS and HOT when they party.

This cracks me up.  While it's true most aren't driving BMW or Mercedes to practice, they aren't taking public transportation either.

I don't think this applies to all cities in Nor Cal OR So Cal.    It's ignorant and somewhat snobbish to make these kinds of statements.

It's all in fun, we are all just poking fun at ourselves.  Lighten upsmile

Saying us cheerleaders in northern california take public transportation to get to practice is making fun of ourselves?   I guess it would be funny if it were true, but since it's not I don't get it.  I must not have the same sense of humor as you, cheertyme.  Guess I need to drive my BMW to jamba juice and lighten up.

Wait! so that how-cheerleaders-get-to-practice post was referring to nor Cal being more eco-friendly?  I didn't get it before, now I'm chuckling.  Yeah, I know, a little slow.

Nope, if only.   That public transportation remark had to do with more wealth in southern ca vs. northern ca.   But I agree, everyone should definitely take public transportation if they can, why make the oil companies richer???

My kid takes public transporation, in fact a few of our kids carpool too.  I think it's because 1. faster than sitting in traffic 2. parents work late 3. cheaper on gas 4. who cares.....these are supposed to be fun and light hearted =)
