New World's Division

I thought this was interesting.  Looks like World's is adding a new cheer division.  Small Senior Limited Coed (20 members, 1 - 4 males).

What do you guys think?

i dont think they need MORE teams going to worlds...they should cut it back..like 20 per category.....50 is WAY to many. You basically get to go if you consider yourself level 5....

I really don't think it's about money, i think it's about making it fair.

because there were quite a few of these teams in the small coed division, and it wasn't fiar to them to have like 10 less kids on the floor than all the other teams, and a VER FEW amount of them even made it through to finals.

So to be quite honest i think it's a good idea.

This is very true. However, you can be amazing but are limited to what you can do because of the amount of kids you have on the team, and in the end if you're going to be judged on the same scale as teams with larger squads but cant do what they can do it just doesn't seem all that fair.

I Don't think it is all about money, but let's face it everybody is trying to make it, pay their bills.  These people at USASF have a huge overhead.  So yeah, I think what they are doing is great, some are over paid, But the vast majority love cheerleading competition.  They want to see the best of the best and it takes money, a heck of a lot of it.  The divisions are part of the process and part of the finances.  But what are you going to do?  We love Worlds, it is exciting and it is going to cost money (lots of money).
