That is funny because I have also seen our gym (not UCF) raked through the coals by someone who spells their "thier". I think there may be more than one....

I agree that UCF has been bashed quite a bit on the boards. Actually I think every gym has their moment on here. I tend to think, that when gyms are getting bashed on the boards, then someone is insecure about something or they really just don't know what is going on.

Who cares if UCF only has 2 teams? The economy is bad and people are making choices that are good for their families. Even if they left for other reasons besides the economy, every gym goes through a time when their numbers are up and down. It is part of growing a business. UCF can have 1 team and as long as they are giving those customers what they want and those particular customers are happy with what they are paying for... Then who really cares if they walk into a competition with only 2 squads.

It only takes 1 squad to compete and be good.

This season looks like there are a ton of changes and merging etc... with gyms. Owners are selling gyms and coaches are not returning. its all part of business people.

I think that people are so quick to judge other's situations and forget that they too may have or will go through some of the same things. And you can only hope, that people will treat them better than they are treating this gym.

I am not a member of UCF. Let me just state that now! I am however, a fan of any small gym who is trying to just provide a service and a place for our cheerleaders who love this sport.

I always go back to the year when Pyramids had a senior squad of 9 girls and I believe Christina was their coach (love her by the way)! Those girls were fierce. I remember when they walked on the mat, whispers started around us and then they performed! Those girls rocked at every competition and the next season everyone wanted to be on Pyramids senior 9 squad!! That was the talk of the season.

So it is not the size of the squad, it is the heart of the squad. That is one of our gym's motto for our very small gym and squad.

UCF we love you, hang in there and those who love the sport, love all those that are in it. Regardless of size or wins.

Ahhhh! Proud parent, THANK you! Yes, it doesn't matter the number of teams a gym fields. It's definitely the quality! wink

I can't wait to see all our fellow small gyms this year. It's difinitely time to UNITE!

Rest assured, UCF will be fielding more than 2 teams this season. The quality and services provided by the UCF staff has just elevated once again. It just keeps getting better and better.

I am confused. I am not bashing any teams. I was just responding to the question. I SAID "it is not confirmed" . Why are you so sensative and argumentative. Just because I want a cheer break does not mean I just totally give up on cheer. What is the matter with you. You are 100% correct. If UCF only has one team so WHAT They are great I have always thought they are great. It is people like you who create conflict by making rude remarks like you just did. I ENJOY UCF. I dont like people like you who always want to argue. ALL TEAMS get bashed on It is just a comment.. grow up already. This is to the person who commented about the typos just so we have this correct. I am trying to figure out how to respond directly to one person. ayn wya os whta u cna still raed waht I am syaing tyop or not. I did not realize I was being critiqued on my typing. OMG. TTFN. Ok sounds like you need more than a break from cheer! There was absolutely nothing negative or mean in the posters comment. The poster was very positive about the situation and encouraging to small gyms and ucf. You read it like it was an attack on you... did anyone else read it that way??
There was not one single comment made about your break from cheer(and it sounds as if you need it)!
The only rude person being exposed is you!
Maybe there is a bigger issue and hate is such a strong word!!!

Yes, this person is the one that wants to be confrontational. The person that commented about a typo noticed a trend in several UCF bashings. It was a great observation. And if this person isn't a detective they should be. wink

Often times people will make the same mistakes in their writing styles. It's quite interesting how the brain works. I can bet money, that you will never type the word "their" wrong again. Because then you will be linked with yet another UCF bashing.

The only reason you used the phase "yet not confirmed" is to start drama between the Elk Grove gyms. It would be extremely nice if you gathered the real facts and then came on this board and stated only the facts. This board could eliminate so much unnecessary drama.
