For some gyms that have closed and everyone has moved on to other things, maybe it's a sign of the economy, or maybe bad location, or they lost to their competition? But a few gyms haven't really closed, they have merged with larger gyms to give their members more options. Same coaching staff + more.
i counted 158 on the roster for california allstars............but i heard tht theyre was about 20 more kids trying out this week........so that will be almost 180 kids in the camarillo gym alone!!!!!!!!!all i have to say is WOW
It looks like all the coaches are on level 6....that's a big team. Did a lot of those folks come from another program, or college cheer? I'm just wondering......should be fun to watch.

First of all its NOT THE ECONOMY! Many gyms close because of fallouts between staff vs. owner, staff vs. staff, fall out with parents, not charging athletes, parents not paying, overspending, gym hoppers, and most of all just bad business practices. How many business let their customers get services FREE of charge. Not many.

it is a large team and they are obviously not done with all the cuts for it as 38 is 2 to many to have on the floor. The other kids mostly came from another program however their are some i have no idea where they are from.

Yes, I agree with you. But, I do think that if gyms "A" isn't as competitive, as gym "B" then parents are going to make changes, and or teh choice to try another gym. The grass may not always be greener on the other side, BUT, most of the time it is, and people are happy with their decision.
Face it Cheer Xplosion. You were not good enough to hang on your own so you merged with Nor Cal. You cant have it both ways. Your gym is Nor Cal Livermore. Bye bye cheer explosion
