Wait, so confused here. FAME is Divas and Legends, who merged and practice at NorCal? How is that when there is still a Legends team at the Legends gym?

Legends and Divas both practiced at the Legends gym....the Legends gym is now the CA Crush Allstars gym and new program.....Legends & Diva's choose to form Fame and merged and now practice at NorCal....

I assure you Fame does NOT practice at NorCal. Some from the team take tumbling at our gym but other than that theyre not there.

POWER is a great draw.  And will always draw cheerleaders to their program.  When one walks out the door, another will walk in.

I'm from Elk Grove and heard that several of the Royal cheerleaders are now commuting to POWER.  There are also several more cheerleader commuting to the POWER gym from bay area teams.

When a migration such as this occurs how does it effect the previous gym?  How has this effected a gym like Royal?  I understand their counts are down this season and the gym is starting to struggle.  Did that many cheerleaders migrate to POWER?

Maybe this will just a temporary migration and the cheerleaders will return after one year of that crazy commute.   Who really knows.

I really like the gym we go to and power is about 15 min. away.  We really thought about going to power not because we don't like are gym but because of the dedication of the parents and cheerleaders.  When you reach a certain level of cheer you do expect more out of your parents and when you are at a gym were parents treat this as o-well sally sue just doesn't want to go to practice she just wants to hang out it effects the whole team when this behavior happens a lot.  I feel as a parent you work through it with your kids encourage them to go because it's not all about them all the time.  I still hear parents complaining about practice about classes about "for as much as they are paying they should get this and that".  It drives me nuts! You know what the comitment is you know what the cost is.  Anyway we are going to stay at are gym and not go to power.  I think if our gym can maintain the girls they have and keep them together year after year and the group we are with have been there for awhile they are all like a family and really care and support and encourage each other.  Season is just starting and so far I am very excited for the new season.  Good luck to power and all the other gyms this year.

Why in the world would ANYBODY leave POWER! I don't get it I mean come on anybody who has seen them imo would want to cheer there if the commute was possible. I would be there in a hearbeat if I could . GO POWERbiggrin

POWER is awesome don't get me wrong, but different strokes for different folks!!!  Every season every gym makes some kind of changes and some people are effected and either welcome the change, or they dismiss it and walk.  Maybe those who were good enough to be bumped up for worlds wanted a change or didn't make level 5 for the new season (it does happen).  So they went elsewhere where they would be guarenteed to be on level 5.  Everyone has their reasons for changing gyms regardless of how good they truely are.  I agree though, POWER is AMAZING!!!
