I can't give you the exact number for CheerForce because I would only be guessing but their numbers are also up from last year.

I am really suprised how well gyms are doing this season. It looks like everybodys numbers are up which suprises me because I thought with the economy and all that most gyms numbers would decline.

Anyways to EVERYBODY in California have a WONDERFUL season.

Just an update......Xtreme Elite Cheer Company has officially opened in Bakersfield!!!! Evaluations will be next week and they are having tumbling clinics this week and the parent info. meeting tonight! The website is XtremeEliteCheer.com......so far the numbers look great......it looks like a large number of girls from SE will bee cheering for XE and there have also been a lot of new athletes showing up too!!!! Can't wait to see what teams will emerge from this program! Wish us luck!!!!!! biggrin

I am sure the numbers at cheerforce are completely fine. We saw on an earlier thread that vcsc had 5 teams for this upcoming season so they seem to be ok as well. There are a ton of cheerleaders down here in so cal. Plenty to go around. The only thing I know about bullets though is that most everyone that tried out has cheered before and a very small percentage have no tumbling at all. They seem to be starting off this season nice and strong.

not sure how vcsc's tryouts went their website list 5 teams but that was teams that they were offering not necessarily have filled already, also those are the teams they had last season ..so who knows but I do hope they end up doing well like you said there's plenty of cheerleaders to go around! When does everyones practices start? We dont start for a few weeks and personally I'm lovin the much needed break but my kid was ready to practice just after a few days off shes going crazy waiting for the new season!

So it would seem that Camarillo has over 200 kids now? Hmmmm, and what of the 80% level 5 athletes that were said to be leaving CF for Bullets? If CF's numbers are also up, there must have been level 5 athletes hiding under beds!

no we didnt say we have over 200 kids we said 160. Perhaps we will hit over 200 before the comp season starts who knows guess we'll wait and see biggrin

Divas and Legends have both closed and split in to Fame Athletics and CA Crush.

Divas/Legends merged...CA Crush is brand new on it's own...

It would be less painful to shove bamboo up into my nailbeds then attend that many Jamz comps. I shudder at the thought.

I did hear that ca got a lot of the VCSC cheerleaders.
