Good question. I read it as there were try-outs held prior to Worlds and now there will be another try-out after Worlds. Two different interpretations...the reason there are no dumb questions.

Here's a question, do most gyms take members after tryouts are complete? I believe most do, usually during the summer. So is there a real disadvantage to taking a couple months off and joining in July, for example?

At our gym tuition is a lump sum divided into equal monthly payments, so if you join later, your monthly tuition is higher. You would also take a chance that the particular team you want to be placed on would be full. Just some ideas!
