RE: Team placements?

I don't remember seeing anything from anyone who claimed to have more kids than were physically there, and as for number of teams, what's wrong with that?  You're not allowed to mention the teams if they contain crossovers?   That's ridiculous.

On the lighter side it's nice to hear gyms have had good turnouts so far; looking forward to another exciting season going against great competition.

I am willing to come forward and say that we (Airborne) use crossovers. whew I feel better, jk. Who cares why or how many you use. If the kids want to crossover let them.

Great! gym owners are starting to feel as if they need to stand up, state their name and their use of crossovers! Looks as if Nicole may have been spending time with me at Promises. ;)

I agree, many gyms use crossovers, it's perfectly legal so letitgo!

But you also don't see Nicole BOASTING about the number of kids or the number of teams she has....crossovers are cool, but not if you are going to say you have more kids than you actually have, just to get more to join you

If this is meant to say the NorCal owners come on here and boast, you are just one more person that is misinformed or just doesn't care to share the actual truth. Which to me is just like telling a big fat lie. To know the truth and not defend it? That is really sad.

For your information, the NCE owners do not come on this board. Why would they? Shoot if I wanted to be slammed or be talked poorly about, I would go sit at a Raider game wearing a 49ers jersey. I think that would be safer anyways.

The people that come on this board and say Nor Cal this, or Nor Cal that usually do not have a CLUE what they are talking about. idea Here's an idea, get the facts straight before you speak.

I haven't seen NCE boast about their numbers, someone asked about gym numbers, it was answered.  Then, someone else felt they needed to clarify that those numbers don't really count because it was including half-year and college and the other gyms around didn't have half-year or college.  Someone (maybe the same person, I don't know, Anonymous all looks the same) asked about teams, someone answered.  Then, someone felt the need to clarify that those team numbers don't count because they use too many crossovers.  just let it go.

Maybe they mistakenly saw last years teams? No biggie.
I have been on several sites, and they are posted. I know CA, CF, West Coast All Stars (in Walnut), as well as OC, So Cal Elite, and Power are having theirs this week, and if not, they are next week. Exciting to see the growth everyone is having thoughsmile.gif

Wrong info again...Power had theirs April 12th and their teams are posted on their private site only. You can still do a private "skills evaluation" but tryouts were done several weeks ago.

I believe I heard they have 10 teams, several which are large. So their numbers must be up! Congrats!smile

one athletics has theirs up. pretty impressive considering this is their first year. they have a youth lev.2 junior lev.3 senior lev.2  senior lev.4 (that is huge!!) and a senior lev. 5!!!!and that is with no double uppers that i could see. no double names anywhere!idea

did you notice the lact of youth, mini, and tiny participants they have?  I would be quite concerned if I were the gym owner.   That is the gym's future.  Not the large senior 4 that will be around for 1 season.

EXCELLENT POINT!!!!!!!!!

Did notice a few.  BUT, the numbers aren't enough to carry the gym in few more seasons.  This gym needs to be concerned for the future not just for today.

How did the tryouts for Cheer Xpolsion (Nor Cal Livermore) go.  Did combining forces with Nor Cal draw in more kids?  Just curious.  Good luck this year with your new partnership.

Thank you for the good luck wishes. The Livermore tryouts went well. 60+ new members, not including returning members. I do not know how many late ads. I do know that there will be more teams than last year in Livermore. San Jose has their post Worlds tryouts this week. Both Nor Cal locations are off to a good start and are excited to see the season get underway.

Good luck to all!

Ok I have a dumb question??? What are post words tryouts.  Does this mean this is the team that will be groomed as the team they will be going for a bid to Worlds similar to the AA team?

Good question.  I read it as there were try-outs held prior to Worlds and now there will be another try-out after Worlds.  Two different interpretations...the reason there are no dumb questions.
