6 teams with 70 kids? so does that mean everyone has to double team???

I checked their website and they only have 5 teams. One team only has 9 members, 3 have 16 members, and one has 17 members hmm

Maybe they mistakenly saw last years teams? No biggie.
I have been on several sites, and they are posted. I know CA, CF, West Coast All Stars (in Walnut), as well as OC, So Cal Elite, and Power are having theirs this week, and if not, they are next week. Exciting to see the growth everyone is having thoughsmile.gif

Wrong info again...Power had theirs April 12th and their teams are posted on their private site only. You can still do a private "skills evaluation" but tryouts were done several weeks ago.

I love the cross over obsessor.. check the pics on the web site and count how many cross over 3 times. NCE had 140+ kids including the college open.  We will see what 2009 season will bring.  The returning kids have not tried out yet.
But really does anyone really care? As long as the gyms and their members are happy campers, what does it matter how many?  So-Cal just got 4th place at worlds and they were not a huge gym...  Good luck to all the gyms this season, with the current economy utilize your booster club work ventues and have a great season!

actually, I have a life..I just love the fact that you make yourself sound better than you are...there are PLENTY of cheerleaders in the area that wouldn't even consider going to your gym. so get over yourselves

I love Nor Cal Elite, why even make comments like that when they had an impressive amount of kids last season at every competition I saw them at.  What's next, are you going to accuse them of cloning?

Isn't it too early for gyms to realistically place teams?   A lot can happen between now and the start of competition season.  By the end of the summer at our gym our teams looked pretty different than what we started with in April last season, for the better.   If you want a more accurate count check back in July/August.  Or better yet, wait until you hear from the gyms themselves, not just someone speculating based on who knows what.

I think its funny that your advertising teams for Nor Cal because they always do groups instead of teams after their intitial tryouts.

On their website thay have groups. Youth and Jr and Senior (15 - up) but they only have the numbers 100-175. How are they going to make 7 teams out if that? Or are those only the new people?

did you notice the lact of youth, mini, and tiny participants they have?  I would be quite concerned if I were the gym owner.   That is the gym's future.  Not the large senior 4 that will be around for 1 season.

I am sure NCE WILL be at worlds in 2009. Why would you even care about what is on their website ? You obviously dislike the gym so why do you waste so much effort on visiting their website ?

I am not from NCE infact I do not live in Northern California. Everytime I have come across NCE at a comp in Southern California they have always displayed awesome sportsmanship and they are always very nice to talk to.
