As a father on site with my daughter, let me enlighten everyone alittle. California All Stars and Top Gun athletes have displayed nothing but the best sportsmanship towards each other over the past three days. Even during and after the awards there were plenty of hugs and handshakessmile going around. Both programs produce very talented athletes and even more important, A RESPECTFUL INDIVIDUAL!

THANKS TO ALL THE TEAMS THAT COMPETEDsmile

AMEN!!

SO RITE! EXPERIANCE OF A LIFETIME,SO GLAD TO SHARE THIS EXPERIANCE WITH MY FAMILYbiggrin

Wow ! If your talking about the same Stephanie that is going to Homestead next year.... Why would Nor Cal let someone who doesn't have a standing back go to WORLDS???????????? They must have been desperate.

What a way to end the year... Bullets top the charts as the BEST program to be a part of in Cali... with 3 gyms now anyone in SoCal has a chance to be part of this stellar gym.

and on a side note... if CA would have brought there Small Juniors... that would have been an EASY win... if not second =)

If it were so EASY, they would have done it in February. And if small jr is such a cakewalk, then maybe they should put on their big girl spankies and go large jr.

And even with Ca's great performance, believe me, most of us in SoCal are happy right where we're at. But, to those who do choose the Ca family, good luck :)

You sure do not sound happy more like mean. Keep your good luck wishes you are going to need them for next season.....

I'm a mother of 3 (well 2 one is their bestfriend) on CA Bullets and my other son  who is on Gymtyme was frantically texting me said the whole team did awesome today! I 'm pretty sure the best they've ever done.... I'm so proud of them... and to hear about the great sportsmanship at the comp tops it off! (Thanks Dad!) Wish I coulda been there to see that....
A 2nd place to Topgun compared to 4th place last year is absolutley FANTASTIC! so much improvement in one season for the team....it validates all of the dedication & sacrifices we've made with trips back & forth changing schools, homeschool, injuries, no money for extras and so many more is worth every second, every hour, every day....!

Topgun is AMAZING! Great competition! Congrats to you!

Your the ones to beat! We'll see u next year!...

Northern Cali Morgan Hill Mommy....

im pretty sure, stephanie, a girl on nor cal who went to worlds isn't old enough to be on a sr team

i personally know stephanie, and to straighten things out:

1. She DID NOT compete at WORLDS 08.
2. The trip for her to go to WORLDS 08 was a birthday present.
& 3. She'll be a fresman next year.

So even if she did compete, I'm sure she's old enough.

ahhhhh, too much! Cheers and good luck to all the teams!!! Hope the day was amazing! SOOO jealous, wish I was there! biggrin

then how did she cheer on the YOUTH team all season??? And yes, she was in the routine.

so clear up the confusion.  You are talking about 2 different girls.  One Stephanie did not compete on Co-ed level 5.  She competes Jr.5 and Senior 3.  She went to Worlds for HER BIRTHDAY.

The second Stephanie, is young enough to compete on youth and was young enough to go to Worlds last year and this year.

EVERYONE GOT IT!!!!!

Yep, because I found Top Gun's routine from last year on youtube, and it was someone watching from the floor.

Idiotic, I do not think so, someone just happy their team has done so well at worlds. I think you are jealoussss. Your teams I bet got to ride all the rides at disneyworld twice.

Yeah,YIKES! If they hit a 'perfect' routine, and still didn't make it to day 2 (AGAIN), what does that say for their

routine/athletes?  I think I'd be looking elsewhere- too much $ to spend for a 3 minute routine! They went for the "experience" LAST year. I would be expecting more this year. Ewwww

Oh little steph...she is my daughter's idol on youth.  She is old enough this year to compete Sr (and last year as well).  She hits the bottom edge and if they continue to move it up one year at a time she will be old enough from here on out.  Amazing, amazing, amazing young lady...

Steph, on homestead and Sr 3 and Jr 5 last season...just a minor correction to clear this up...another amazing young lady who by the way is having a momentary brain freeze on her standing back which she does have and will have again very soon!  Love you girl.

NorCal you make us all proud.

All the Cali teams - great showing at World's.  To see where cheer has come over the years is amazing (yes, I was looking at old pics today - Nelson I have one of you that I am sure someone would like to get their hands on starting bids?).  To see Cali cheer competing like they are is PHE-NOM-E-NOL (that's for you Rachel)...

Keep cheering everyone and I can't wait to see what next year brings...
