platinums website said their junior and seniorA team won. so their jr2 beat pac and bladez? guess you have a slight advantage when youve been level 3 all season and drop to level 2 for the last 2 comps. and i guess their smallsr2 beat oc, american, and cheer xplosion? wow.

For the person who said CA junior all girl had the highest score of the comp as of their awards Sunday....did this remain true?  Anybody know who had the highest score if not them?  Thanks!!

How many grand champ awards did they give out at thos comp?

I heard Ca won Junior Grand Champ
CheerForce Alcatraz won Junior Coed Grand Champ, Diamondz won Senior Grand Champ, And Rocckiez won Coed Grand Champ.

Did they give a grand champ for like every division or something! lol

OC wasnt the only team with out of division age issues....more than one person at the competition was complaining about platinums large coed level 4 team stating that they had more than one boy who were told old to compete on a Sr. level team....not sure if this was brought to any of the officials attention or not.

Shame on American Champ.  The age requirements have been set by USASF for a year.  No one there should have allowed a Sr Level 5 team to put an under age member on their roster.  There was a reason for USASF for doing this to begin with.  It's called SAFETY.  American Champ looks like a bunch of money hungry %$#%$, that will do anything for their business.

And OC, regardless if someone got hurt or unable to attend...why would you even ask for permission to begin with?  Every gym has to deal with substitutions, and they all play by the rules.  If you can't get a legal member to fill in, then it's called exhibitioning.

I guess it is too much to ask for the results from Anaheim on this thread....

Last year California Allstars filed a complaint at the competition that the Socal Elite limited coed team had kids on it that were too old and I know that Socal had to take all of the members on the team with their photo ID's and match every kid with their ID to a birth certificate. So I know that American Championships takes the age eligebility issue very seriously.

Oh, other teams do this, but that's beside the point.   And your right other teams that were there were in the wrong divisions.

Why would OC Allstars put in a 9 year old when they had 4 whole weeks to work in an age eligible athlete ? It just doesn't make any sence. Why would they want to taint their reputation that way .

I have been around the competition cirquit a long time and I have seen many an athlete get injured on day 1 only to have a replacement flier put into the routine at the last minute for day 2.( 4 weeks is like an eternity )

Thank you!  They had plenty of time and plenty of legal aged athletes to pull from.  Let's all play by the rules or why have them?

I know this for a fact as I was there and witnessed the whole thing. Not trying to start drama just stating the fact that Athletic Championships takes these kind of aligations very seriously and they also run some of the best competitions around. Bashing Athletic Championships is getting old.
