It is safe to say that only coaches went to the meeting and generally coaches stay away from these board
This isn't entirely true, there have been several owners/coaches that come on here. Also, John came on here and gave us the general idea of the alliance. Hopefully, he or a different owner/coach will check-in and let us know. I am extremely interested in how it went.
The meeting was a huge success. There are 21 gyms currently involved and almost 2000 cheerleaders, from San Luis up past Sacramento. We currently are in the process of compiling everyone's tentative competition schedule so all of the gym owners can see who is planning on what competitions.A massive spread sheet will be sent to the gym owners the end of this week so adjustments can be made if a gym was planning on attending a competition with low enrollment to switch to another competition that has a larger attendance. We understand that parents pay good money to be apart of our programs, and want quality events with good use of their finances. We will do what we can to make things better in Nor Cal.
We are very excited about the different event producers involved. They are in the process of working with all of us to get fees lowered if possible, and improve the quality of the events.
All of the owners have agreed we will not release our final schedule's until after we meet again in May, and we will collectively make the announcement then as to the results of our efforts.
New committee's were created for education, membership, competition schedule, and scholarship.
It truly was an historic meeting for Northern California All-Star Cheerleading
