Amy,
I am almost positive that all cradles must be from a half.
But what about, for example, when rule #4, which prohibits being under the influence during practice and cheer events, is broken?
Took a bit, but I was able to get an answer.
For any teams that are participating at Worlds in 2008 each participant (athlete & coach) is required to sign an Agreement of Compliance. Although rule #4 above isn't technically in effect until after Worlds (as part of the new rules), if a participant violates the overall behavior rules, they are subject to the following:
I understand if one or more members of our team is found to be ineligible, is destructive to Disney property and/or competition-related property, or behaves inappropriately, our team will:
A. Be disqualified.
B. Be responsible for repaying the total cost of any funds received through a Paid or Partial Paid bid.
C. Will not be eligible for any type of bid to The Cheerleading Worlds for the following year.
The enforcement of the rule at other competitions and at the gyms will be up to the owners of those groups. USASF will be encouraging full compliance at all times.

I think this is a great rule especially after what happened at a recent national in Vegas.

Thanks ACE Dad! I knew you'd come through. I think the repercussions are both strict and fair. Hopefully all who indulge in these types of activities are aware of the actions taken if caught.

I had to edit my post a bit. The end results are the same, but I mis-spoke a bit about the implementation of rule #4. I'm still very happy about the addition of this rule to USASF.

NEWB....didn't know you were on here!!! Thanks for the answer. That is what I thought also, But its pretty vague.....Congrats on your last comp!!!
I would assume that deductions or a disqualification would be made...but the rule also includes coaches...what if it is the coach who is drunk at the competition? do you diqualify their team because the coach is an idot?
How would such things be determined? Are we drug and alcohal testing coaches and athletes? Or is this just a rule that needed to be made to cover the USASF?
