my friend and i r doing the 1 athetics college team and she was at the gym opening/meeting and bre said that there arent n e requirements but if they get 2 many peeps then they will have to make cuts based on ability. their website is up now, email and ask for the 411 if you need more

why? the 1athletics coach is amazing. look at her hs team they are great and all the high level POWER teams in the past.. i think she can work miracles. never met her--but this is my observation

Rebels Elite will be having a College Open Team... this is our 4th year. I know we are a newer gym, but we just beat out Northwest College Open at the Jamz Nationals. We have about 10 boys returning and we are looking for talented boys and girls. (Up to 36 members.)

Tryouts are this Saturday 4-5pm. We practice Mon & Wed (8:30pm-10:30)night all season, so we are looking only for the highly dedicated who still want to be taught new skills or perfect those that they have.

Glad to see other college teams... good luck to you all! Go Northern California!

She is not that good. She had the rhinestones because she is one of the favorites of the gym. Open your eyes and see she really don't have skills at all alot of the girls in the air can beat her but that is how it goes when you are the best friend of the gym and ways getting your way. That is why people are going elsewhere.

People let it go! If you wanted/were required to have rhinestones, you paid for them. It's not that big of a deal. Jiminy Crickets consider yourselves lucky if the most you have to complain about is pretty shiny things!

sounds like sour grapes to me...you know she's a great all around cheerleader. shes great in the air and very talented. get over it. you moved on to another gym, so please let it go, and stop bashing the people you cared about last season.

yes they did have 3 level 5 teams but all team had the same people in the front for EVERYTHING and those same people FLYING in everything i sense a lot of favorites at that gym

NCE has a rep that you earn your spot... hate to tell you it is true.... If you see the same flyers they earned those spots because they change them based on the skill. All gyms have favorites but lets face it when the team goes out on the floor it reps the coach and owners, do you really think they would hurt their rep and the whole team that is paying the same for someone front & center that is no good? If so, then you have a choice to put your money somewhere else.

I actually like the earn your spot method, the kids don't get comfortable and think the spot is theirs forever. I have seen kids taken out of the air and replaced, I have seen awesome jumpers moved to the front in jump section, great dancer in the front for dance section. I don't think anyone is in the front for everything.

Bottom line work hard and your skills will come...

I just think kids on the same team should be competing with each other...with that brings status, which we know is harmful....kids should be taught that everyone is part of the TEAM and everyone is needed....

OMG... this year you had to pay to get your uniform rhinestoned. If you didn't have the money, then you didn't the get rhinestones! Its not that big of a deal.
