When is the rule going to apply for Allstar uniforms to cover their stomachs or is it going to go into effect at all?

Wow! I can tell you're not on here as constantly as I am!! After all the hulabaloo over this issue, the USASF (or whatever organization sent out the original email) then sent another out stating that the the original was just a feeler to see how everyone felt about it.
So, the short answer is: No, it isn't going to be a rule.

I like that idea too. Althought I guess that means that some cross-over kids might have to purchase 2 tops - or come up with a cleaver way to fold thier Jr. top under and hook/velcro it in for the Sr routine. But yeah - I like JR's in full tops. Just MY opinion.
i think that... NO ONE SHOULD BE MADE TO DO WHAT SOMEONE ELSE THINKS... if you want you can go to a gym that caters to your uniform tastes... there shouldnt be any rules about uniforms other than what is already out there.

How about PARENTS take some responsibility and teach there daughter not to parade around in their sports bra or how to act appropriately with their boyfriends. Just because they're wearing their team uniform doesn't mean their parents have no say in their behavior.

Not sure where you got the idea that I implied parents have no say in their child behavior but There are some parents that DON'Tmind seeing their child looking like that so I believe gym owners should make it a rule that their cheerleaders are always representing their gym in a positive light at all times while wearing any attire that represents said gym. IMO
I dont think it is the gym owners responsibility to not allow the cheerleaders from they're gym not to wear these sports bras....they might suggest it, but like the previous poster stated, this is up to the parents to allow or not allow this type of dress code. And, I've noticed that most of these competitions they sell the fancy sports bras, and that's when I've noticed that most of the kids wear them...right after the parents purchased it!

I quite disagree but that is okay because we are each allowed our own thoughts on this and I appreciate your point of view.
I think some parents of teenagers will agree with me here... if the coaches and the gym owners are not going to say anything about how the girls are misrepresenting their gym, do you really think us parents will have any leverage?? Keep in mind gyms are businesses, and these girls are representing their business. You better believe they have an interest in making sure the girls dress and act appropriately at all times. I can't depend on other parents who really don't care, I need the coaches and owners to back me up.
I liked our gyms policy all year at ucf. All of our cheerleaders had to come competition ready in full uniform. Girls could have on warm up pants with thier tops. she didnt allow pj bottoms shorts sports bras etc. for national the girls were allowed to wear national t shirts. i liked that those rules were in effect and it shows class and respect for the sport. most gyms are way past the running around in your sports bra and unzip skirts or rolled shorts. it is getting so that gyms want theor programs to be represented well. it is the choice of the gym owners though to allow or not allow it and there is nothing wrong with it, if they dont mind it. i just aprpreciate UCFS policy as a parent
Exactly, our gym has that policy too, they just need to be better about enforcing it. It's much easier for a coach to tell the entire team to dress and act appropriately at competitions than to rely on the parent of each individual member (because that just isn't going to happen).
