Danny- I think a lot of people do not register, because there are strict rules and contracts in their gym about not being on boards like this. I am one of these parents. But I love this board, it is a great way to get out what you feel, and I love getting to hear what other parents think and the things good and bad that go on at other gyms. Sometimes that helps you put your situation into perspective. Although there has been a lot of fighting going on lately, it has kept me coming back, and honestly I was really irritated that the moderators keep deleting everything.
Sorry you might not read this, but there it is anyway
You don't have to have your name, gym or any other clues. There are a few on here that have chosen to do so and I haven't a clue who they are...like Broomstick Babe and cheermom (I think that's the one, there a few similar) or there's ones that I know what gym they are from, but not who they are specifically.
Well, my computer won't let me post anonymously, so you are stuck knowing it's me saying what ever I say, even though I don't post much. Our gym owners know I come on here and have given me their blessing.
I joke that I would probably get in trouble or deleted if I could post without logging on. I do enjoy the board more now and appreciate that there are differences of opinion. It's really no fun when everyone holds hands and sings kumbaya! I have learned a lot, especially lately, and am glad some of the information is now out there that we otherwise would never know if not for this board.

I registered and I am still waiting for the e-mail I am supposed to get. I would love to log in so I don't have to sign everything ~Amy G, cheerTyme.....

I was surprised to see my (screen) name! I even felt special for a few minutes...

Are gyms allow to govern you outside the gym and comps? I'm sorry but I do have freedom of speech and the press and them telling you or I or anyone you can't post on here seems to be against my constitutional rights.... I consider this speach some people consider it press since it's in writing, but no matter how you look at it I don't think they can truley say you can't come on here. Then again this is just my opinion
Gyms are however able to put in their contracts that they can hold you liable for anything you do that is detremental to their business. You can be sued for damages. Although it is their job to show that their business was impacted some way by your actions, which can be extremely hard. It can be done however.
