Ok so every gym owner/coaches lie!!! its part of the business. They too have to protect some information and how many of us tell the truth everyday of our lives. NONE!  so if nce hasn't been completely honest about every aspect of their program so what???  my gym doesnt tell us the whole truth and i certainly dont read more into it except somethings they just gove the best answer to that they can.
we all protect what we need to when we need to. How many of us have kept our kids home for cheer events but told the school they were sick so it would be excused.? how many of us have paid late and made up some lie? how many of us have kept kids home from cheer and lied? 
how many of us come on here and complain about our gym and gym owners but to their face tell them how great they are? 
as partenbts we feel we need to know everything and every aspect of the all star business. it is not our job to know it. do the owners owe you some simple common couteosy about things YES of course they do, but it is their business.  I am a parent and I ask a lot of questions, but i also know that everything that is said to meis not always the complet truth. some things are said to keep the paece and to keep running their business. 
i understand the need to know paricular things but merging with another gym is a business choice not a vote by the cheer parents.  you can stay and be part of something new or move on to other things
