RE: Jamfest Results

I coached the Pyramids level 4 Senior team. I wanted to bring some information to you all that may shock you. There are only 7 girls on that team that have all their level 5 skills, hence the TWELVE 12 other girls are true level four cheerleaders. And I love every last one of them, but last I checked a team of 7 doesn't do too well at competitions.

The Pyramids level 4 Junior team has 8 girls who are true level 5 cheerleaders. Two of them just in the last month got all their level 5 skills. That means 12 of them are true level 4 cheerleaders.

I enjoy the intensity of this discussion and think that your concerns are relevant, but I think it's important to make sure that you remember that even though your intent is not to hurt the cheerleaders themselves, when your beef is with the gym, the girls read these posts.

I challenge more of you to begin posting with less raw emotion and more thought in your responses. We are all in this for the kids, right? Then let's remember to keep them foremost in our minds. Instead of making accusations, maybe we should begin asking more questions.

Jeff,
Pyramid teams were awesome thi season. This was their year. Most of us really don't care about all the negative talk going on about true levels etc... it has gone both ways this season on here.
We have witnessed gyms being bashed for having teams inlevels that others though were to high for them. We have witnessed gyms being bashed for having levels in lower divisions than what people want them to be in.

Pyramids all around was a solid gym this season and it just means next year... everyone better put together their best teams RIGHT?

good job cheergyms staff and let me tell you my gym and girls are coming after you next season watch outbiggrin
