As i was waiting for our Jr coed team to go on, Cheerforce was being called out before us and i look to my right and this little girl, must have been 5 or 6 years old from cheerforce still in uniform had a blow horn and was using it like there was no tomorow. Funniest thing of my life.

i think all of the CA teams did an amazing job this weekend i know a few of their teams had to deal with injuries in warm ups and even on stage so they were great! but i do agree with everyone eles its nice to see some other teams stepping up to the challange. however i still think cali is one of the top if not the top team in california and i think it will stay that way for a while esspecially with california buying out bladz and all

Someone from our Small Senior 5 blew her knee out day one, and a girl from our large senior 4 broke her nose in the warm ups day one as well but still competed. Sucks but CA still did well this weekend. So did everyone else. Congrats So-Cal on grand champs. And i didnt see the UCF and Bullets showdown in the junior 3 i think it was that everyone was talking about but im sure both teams did amazing.

I probably should not post this but I can't stand it. After every competition where CA wins it all all you here about is how great they are. Now they lose a few divisions and don't win grand champs across the board and they are making excuses. Every competition there are teams who have kids get hurt probably some that you competed against this weekend but we never hear about it. Please win with pride and lose with dignity. As far as air horns go just get rid of them.

Air horns are not going to kill you! You may think that they are annoying, but so are crying babies. You dont see someone trying to band them from coming. Knowing there are people cheering for you help pump up the kids and yelling and screaming is harder to hear at least the air horns are heard.

Awsome!!!! Very creative and exciting to watch. Same with CA...their routines are also visually exciting to watch as well. Other performances, I won't name gyms as I don't want to be accused of slamming, seem flat and uninteresting compared to these.

Yes actually!!
After awards some of the coaching staff of CA were arguing to the Event Staff that SoCal should not have won over their junior team. So many people heard and saw them, including SoCal. It is what it is.

yeah no one from CA is complaining about how they lost and its not fair or how they didnt get grand champs because everyone knows socal deserved it they were awesome. i think the people from CA (and im not trying to speak for them but) feel like everytime they come on these boards there is always something negitive being said about their gym. those kids obviously work hard day in and day out to come on here and read about yeah yeah they are good but have you heard about what this coach did or how they had to get revenge on cheerforce. its really sad we feel the need to bash such a great talented group of kids. know one is complaining about there placements at all i think the few teams from CA that didnt win this weekend took their loses very well i havent seen any negitivity from them so far. and as far as the girls who got hurt im truley sorry you guys did an amazing job and you should be proud of yourselves it takes alot to go out on the floor when you have just gotten injured great job!

Oh, this is priceless. There is a big difference between crying babies and air horns. We all tolerate crying babies because we know it's something that can't be controlled. Air horns on the other hand.... There are other ways to show your spirit, please don't be so self-centered and think of the other people sitting around you. Is it really that hard to do?

i know! im a competitor and i love all of the air horns and lites and noise makers the parents bring it really pumps me up when im backstage and i hear that! as long as the air horns are being used in the crowd cheering section i see nothing wrong with them.

also i agree with the previous post the music and evrything about an indor cheer competition is loud so if you cant handle some air horns then your deffinitly not in the right place

It is very honorable of you to defend them , but I truly think you are mistaken when you say "everytime they come on this board" since Shawn has shown up I have seen "80" topics started from them all leading to "CA is this great, and that blah blah blah" so much so they got a topic closed trying to "advertise" so I think you are sadly mistaken and yes I too, heard from an eyewitness account about the argument with the staff of this comp and CA coaches.

Diamonds did not compete this weekend. Strange because you would think, you want to compete to get as much practice as possible, but, I think a smart move, keeping these girls uninjured and healthy before worlds is even smarter especially with a paid bid. JMO

well im from CA and i just want to say that socal was awesome this weekend and they got what they deserved. also im so proud of my team and all the other CA teams we really came together this weekend and did amazing i have never been more thrilled with the team i am representing i love every moment i am wearing this uniform and every moment i am in the gym working my butt off. i hope that everyone on CA that reads this board donsent let it affect you. only we know what goes on inside our gym and only we understand what its like to be a member of CA
