They were just Jr. for this comp. They threw in two boys from their large coed team who were still young enough to compete as a junior. I think it was their small all girl who were already amazing with the two boys on it. Their was no one in the small all girl division so I think they wanted some good competition so they went jr. coed

what are you talking about that team has allways been small junior 5 for this comp they went jr coed 5. your right the rutine is practically the same just with boys put in to tumble. but that was most deffinitly not their small senior team lol why would a team of senior girls compete as a jr team cali smll seniors competed their new worlds rutine and did great considering they just learned this new rutine however one girl did hurt her knee on day one and they had to stop the music. shes out for worlds cry they had an hour to find someone to fill her place and teach her the the rutine and that girl was from the sm jr team

Huh? I don't see where the above poster implied it was their small sr., I think they were referring to it was their small all girl (as in Jr. team) who is amazing which is very true. Their small jr has looked great all year. Please people take time to read post instead of jumping and defending something that wasn't what you thought it was.

SoCal Elite, you all did great this weekend!!

My favorite was Large Senior 2!! Those girls rocked the mat like never before!! Congrats on your first place win and level 2 GRAND CHAMPS!!

I better mention my daughter's team too...Large Limited Coed - first place and level 5/6 Grand Champs!! Yeah!! Can't wait til Worlds!!

I agree I fell in love with that senior 2 team all over again. Yes CA is bigger but not neccesarily better. Great job SoCal. PS: I don't even cheer there. Just a fan.

SoCal is amazing. If you compare the # of kids in that gym to the larger gyms it shows what talented coaches they have and how hard those kids work. Goodluck at worlds.

So here we go with the negativity again. Nobody from Cali Allstars has said anything about taking over the cheer world. They have alot of teams and all of the teams are great! They did win grand champs in 2 divisions. Also the large coed team was not even there.

I do not think the person posting this was saying that people from California Allstars were saying that people in general were probably saying that... you are a huge company. When you read a post do not always read it with negativity behind it.

I don't think anyone is being overtly negative towards CA on this thread. Tannaz is great at promoting her gym and some people just want everyone to know that CA is not the only great Gym in California.

Congrats to SoCAL so happy to see your wins!! Your kids, and parents are very nice, and some of them I met even had nice things to say about our gym!! You dont see that very often!! Ok, so blow horns (CALI all stars - please stop bringing those, your teams do well enough without them - seriously)! And SCV - dont bring them!! I hate those things! My ears are still ringing!
I have to say I was impressed with West Coast as well! And the kids...nice people!! I think it helps to encourage the kids to wish good luck to the other programs....SO CAL and West Coast must really practice that! Good job!
