11 in youth level 2, wow. And it seems there are always more teams in the senior open than the standard senior categories, not just at this competition but throughout the season. Is it because most senior teams have members under 10?

i think its interesting how hardly any so cal teams are going to this one. just calif flyers and magic. in small youth 2, 8 teams are from out of state and 3 are from nor cal. i guess alot of the teams take this as a big travel comp to see LA. i don't remember there being so many out-of-state teams last year and theres even some teams from canada.

These divisions are small for a national competition, except of course small youth 2. There are going to be a lot of "National Champions" after this competition and they really didn't compete against anyone. :/

Not really, there are 28 divisions with only 5 without competition. I don't think that's a lot of national champions for showing up. Granted there are a few more with one or two competitors, but you still have to beat them to get the title so that's definitely not the same thing.

well if they are like americas best you stillmust get a 90% to get a national championship award if you are the only one in your dkvision

I do not remember America's Best like that....Pacific Champs are that way. They did not come out to CA this year.
