There is nothing wrong with taping other gyms team's. I love watching ALL the teams again when I get home.

I'm sure there were plenty of people at todays competition that taped more then their own gym's teams.

probably, but not the owners of the gym. Its just a tad shady. And actually at some competitions you can have your team lose points or be disqualified for it so yes their is a problem.

Professional photographers and videographers will be shooting action photography

throughout the Championship. Photos and videos can be viewed and purchased at the

Action Pitstop Photography & Video booth. NOTE: Video will be available at select locations

only. When the competition is being videotaped, NO VIDEO taping will be allowed by

coaches/spectators. No photographers other than Americas Best official photographers

will be allowed access to the performance floor.

I don't know if shawn h. was taping today, but I saw other coaches and thier parents video taping as usual..It's no big deal, the season is almost over anyways and both bladez and cheerforce did great today.

I don't think anyone got the memo or even noticed the sign when you buy the tickets NO VIDEO TAPING /PHOTOGRAPHY cuz everybody was recording in the open.

Thanks for taking the time to look up the rules But I am still gonna stand by my original stance. BTW I am soooo guilty of video taping when it is not allowed as are many other people. The only place I will not take that chance is at NCA nationals ( They scare the bejeezes out of me)
I noticed on another post on here under a different thread titled "updates from ab long beach" anonymous poster at 9:52 pm. said they had video taped. So I am guessing more then 1 person video taped at this comp.

If Shawn was taping it was definitely was not to steal anything Bladez does, a lot of times when you are at a small competition and you do not have your full staff you need to review tapes for errors with your teams as well as the team you are competing against. Not a secret this is a reality, CF has a big staff and I think there were two coaches and the owners there tonight. You need more eyes than that.

P.S. although I know it seems confusing but Cheerforce is going to worlds, a great way to practice is to compete, compete and do more competing. Alcatraz is a great team, but they always have problems the first day, which hurts them, since the first day is a great chunk of the score, so they are working on this factor.

Still all the teams were great today and their was no dumb drama like you read about on this board. Both teams were very supportive of each other. Alcatraz also had some injuries, which is not an excuse just a reality, we have not had this many all season.

RC's last performance was AWESOME the kids were crying and i was crying right there with them and im not even from RC lol... its sad to see a program that has been such a huge part of all star cheer in so cal for 13 years go...but it was great to watch... they threw ALL the tumbling they had...fulls...doubles...IN LEVEL 4!!! they definately went out with a bang

oh and RC was actually in 3rd but saftey deductions for all of the level 5 tumbling on day 2 put them in last

My hat goes off to RC Club cheer and its founders Apryl, Reigh, and Monique!! Those amazing women were pioneers for cheer in california. RC Club Cheer was a true inspiration for many of the gyms that are around today, they will truly be missed but never forgot. RC Club CHeer will always be apart of cheer history. RC Club Cheer All Stars are here, time and again we come to win!! GO RC!!

A good Competition for it being Small.I think there was two teams I might have misplaced for the 4th/5th spot. Someone please correct me if i'm wrong.

As a proud cheer parent, anytime they charge to get into an event I should be able to video or take pictures. Lord knows I spend enough year round! I dislike having to buy a video from the competition and waiting 4 to 5 weeks for it. I would pay for a video if a portion of the sale went to the cheer teams that I wanted. Plus this is my hobby, taking video & pix keeps my sanity! I wont mention how many ball games I missed on the weekends. Just looking to share some memories with all the hard working athletes, nothing more.
